No, What Are You Going To Do About Him?

Should the Republicans impeach Barack Obama or not? There are good arguments on both sides of the question.

Perhaps we should change the question. The question should be, when are the Democrats going to realize it’s in their own best interest to pay him a visit and ask him to step down, or to change course a bit? I’m speaking not so much of the Democratic Party's spineless politicians, but the party's donors, the monied backers, most of whom are paying up for protection and buying favors. Will protection and favors be there if the Democratic Party loses power?

If there’s anything going down the tubes faster than the American economy and the rule of law, it’s the Democratic Party.

What are we going to do about him? No, what are YOU going to do about him?

Due to Obamacare, they’re losing young voters. Due to Keystone and Common Core, they’re losing unions. Due to the immigration issue, their black vote is in peril. Blacks are saying publicly now, why are you helping Hispanics when we should be your focus? White women voters are beginning to ask the same question.

They’re losing the media because the media at some point will have to go into self-preservation mode also, if they haven’t already.

What are we going to do about him? No, what are YOU going to do about him?

Obama also seems to care not a whit for the Democratic Party. Perhaps he believes he will have even more power if they too are marginalized. The party is composed of disparate factions that are beginning to see their interests are juxtaposed. This is a train wreck. Obama's the engineer, but the constituencies all perceive they're riding in the caboose.

The fact that Dems up for reelection can’t even be seen with him, gives us the best clue that we may be doing them a big favor by keeping the conversation on what will the Republicans do about him, instead of what will Democrats do about him.

By staying the course in lock-step with what Obama wants, the Democrats are taking themselves down. We should be less focused on Obama and more on the fix his party is in.

They’re going to lose big in 2014, and they’re in dire jeopardy for 2016. Their money has always come from the fact that they have the “for sale” sign out, as their constituencies don’t have any money. Those who would purchase favors or buy protection will cease donating when they see the light. If we play offense instead of defense, we can get them to see they’re placing bad bets.

What are we going to do about him? No, what are YOU going to do about him?

“President Biden” ... LOL ...

President Biden would be an improvement.

Joe Biden is stupid. Seriously. He's unintelligent and a buffoon.

0bama is evil, and smart enough to plan and execute the deliberate destruction of America.

If the other two branches had wanted to do anything, they would have stopped the usurper from being on the ballot. After that, the other candidates would have protested the obvious voting problems. After that, Congress wouldn’t have cowered for the past 6 years and the SCOTUS wouldn’t be “evading” the eligibility issue.

RE:”They’re going to lose big in 2014, and they’re in dire jeopardy for 2016. “

Not happening.

Jumping to 2016 based on 2014 is like those who claimed in 2010 that Obama had already given up on re-election, based on Obama’s reduction in approval ratings.

Dems believe that the Republicans can never win a POTUS election again and that them picking up seats in this years election will just lead to them getting in trouble the next two years.(shutdowns, impeachment, etc)

And how often do you get out on the streets, get loud mad and visible? It’s all well and good to tell others if you are doing it, but don’t preach if you aren’t.

I am doing so here in NM with our Tea Party and we couldn’t buy news coverage or publicity if we tried. Getting visible only works to a point without coverage or publicity.

If the other two branches had done their job, they would have stopped the usurper from being on the ballot. True, but then the next in line would have been Hillary. I think they planned that. The party put up two Marxists in case the first one was DQ’d.

I would argue that when it comes to standing for core values the Republicans are going down the tubes faster.

I marched with the Idaho Second Amendment Alliance a few months ago, through the streets of Boise. I'm in the process of trying to raise funds for a Veterans' Day rally I hope to organize this fall. I'm also trying to get my own national Tea Party-affiliated group, POVUS.org (Pi**ed Off Veterans of the United States) organized, funded, off the ground, and out there making waves. All this while waiting for the VA to get around to operating on my back so I can walk normally again. Is that enough for now?

Our local Tea Party group is more concerned with going on local talk radio shows and organizing golf tournaments than with doing anything of value. I'm glad yours is active, but I can't imagine not getting news coverage. I'm a former radio and TV reporter, so I know good and doggone well how common slow news days are, especially over the weekend. Local news organizations jump at any opportunity to cover local events of significance, rather than the same ol' small-to-medium market BS. So maybe you're not reaching out to them? Try finding someone who can write a press release, and fax or e-mail blast it out to every radio, TV, print and online news group in your area. Call into local talk shows to talk about your rally. Write letters to the editor. You'll get coverage.

I would like to see Obama removed from office through lawful means, but it is not going to happen.

The democrats would be punished at the polls if they cooperated in removing President First Black from office. President First Black’s only qualification for office was and still is his skin color, and that hasn’t changed. Those who wanted President First Black in 2008 still want to keep President First Black, and the penalty for removing him from office matters more to democrats than the destruction President First Black is inflicting on our country.

If we try for impeachment, even if it goes to the Senate, the democrats will use that as a theme in the November election. Given a choice between doing the right thing and getting voted out or endangering our country but campaigning on the issue of a “racist impeachment” and keeping power, there is not a single democrat in the Senate who will vote to remove President First Black from office.

What am I going to do about it? Pray. What do I want the House to do about it? Use the power of the purse. They need to cut funding to any part of FedGov that is being abused, and reign in this lawless President First Black as much as possible using just their power to allocate funds (a power that will grow if we take the Senate). It’s the best we can do.

Yep...I see on the news every day how the Tea Party is taking to the streets by the hundreds and thousands, demanding smaller government, repeal of Obamacare, and so on.

Not to tar and feather you without a public trial, but you may harbor an unnatural love of mainstream media. Tally ho! ;)

Any of the other candidates would have beaten Hill, hands down.

Thanks - and good for you for doing something too!

Sorry I jumped on you, but many people here love to sit in the armchair and tell everyone else what to do to save the world/country/party, whatever.

Props to you! Thanks for the advice :-)

No love at all for it, but I understand it and how it works. I know the chinks in their armor. You see, I used to be part of it. I know what makes those SOBs tick.

No problem, FRiend. So many right here on FReep are full of crap these days, that I, too, have a tendency to not believe what they say right offhand. If you ever need any help or tips on how to deal with those vermin in the media (local media are especially nauseating), FReep mail me, and I'd be glad to help.

There's a lot I haven't put on my profile page. I imagine you haven't told us everything about yourself on your page, as well.
