Some of the kids are dangerous gang bangers. The Obama Regime is dead set against sending even the gang members. They are importing poverty and criminal activity. Those dealing with the kids have received a gag order with threats of job loss and arrest. There is almost no deportation of any of the illegals.
Impeachment is required.
Yep. Now if only Cruz will join her.
Oh, not nearly as smart -- the Cheshire conservatives, as you so aptly name them, understand all the modern nuances, don't you see! *rolls eyes*
A Jackson Pollock canvas expresses more realism than Republican "political realists" like Longbow.
As long as Republicans—and conservatives-—are held prisoner by their own hesitation and lack of fortitude, nothing in this country will ever be changed.
We know what needs to be done; Obama has broken the law over and over, and he’s not about to stop. Yet, there are those of us who refuse to join in because we fear the racebaiters. The left counts on this.
How many will it take, though? I'm in full agreement with what she said last night. But weeks ago, she was saying it might be time for a third party. It's time for her to catch up with FR. The GOP is too corrupt to be saved.
You are not identifying the problem. They are not held back by some internal hesitation, they are held back by public opinion which would overwhelmingly oppose impeachment.
This is not an issue that can be fixed from the top down, it's a bottom up proposition. Impeachment is a political act. In order to successfully do it without paying a massive political price at the polls, at least a near majority of the public would need to fully support it. That just isn't the case.
Obama is unpopular, Bush was unpopular. The public did not support impeaching either. The last time we did this in an environment in which the public was not with us we achieved nothing - if anything we managed to lose seats in the House in the lead up elections. Additionally, Clinton's impeachment seemed to serve only to make the public sympathize with him and he wound up with extremely high job approval ratings much of the rest of his term (and he still has those high approval ratings today).
Obama will not be impeached. There are not the votes for it in the House, there is no chance he'd be convicted in the Senate, there is no public will for such a thing, and it would only hurt us going into the 2014 elections. That is the political reality that exists once you leave the echo chamber of those saying what you want to hear.
Look up “Self fulfilling prophecy”.
There is not going to be any impeachment. It simply isn't going to happen. There aren't the votes in the House to impeach, and the Senate certainly wouldn't convict. FDR was arguably even more a socialist (read his Second Bill of Rights) who violated the separation of powers as often as Obama has and there is a better chance of retroactively impeaching him than there is of impeaching the current half black President.
I doubt you could even get half the TEA Party caucus to go along with impeachment. The politics simply don't support it, and impeachment is a political act.
