My first connection was with my C64. I thought it was hi tech...At the time I was using an Altos 586, with a 10MHz 8086 processor, 1MB RAM, 20MB hard drive, running Altos Xenix III. I had 5 serial ports on the box, and had one hooked to my Altos II terminal (basically a Wyse 60) and a 1200bps modem.
