The win of Sen. W. Thad Cochran over state Sen. Christopher B. McDaniel in the June 24 GOP Mississippi Senate Primary runoff by less than 5,000 votes is a pyrrhic victory for the Republican establishment.

I would so completely vote for the rat in MS if I lived there.

Better the enemy you know trying to stab you in the face.

All open primaries should be abolished. Why should Democrats choose the Republican candidates? It makes no sense.

If Cochran likes the ‘rat vote so much, he’d better hope that he can get enough of it to win in November. I certainly wouldn’t vote for him if I lived there, not after this. Normally, I would have voted for the party nominee after the primary, but not one who went crawling on his knees to the Democrats to drag his butt over the line.

This is what I was trying to say in a previous post. Americans have a character problem. Why would you not take gov. money when you just as easily could? Very sad day for conservative.

“...but not one who went crawling on his knees to the Democrats to drag his butt over the line....”

Every Tea Party group in Mississippi should be going DOOR TO DOOR in every Republican district, letting people know what this old reptile pulled to get re-elected.

Make it your LIFE’S MISSION to expose and unseat this corrupt old b*stard, come November, and urge McDaniel to run as an Independent in November.

It makes perfect sense, IF you are in a position of authority in MS or SC and don't want to ever, ever, ever have to give it up.

In the end, conservatives would have accepted the McDaniel loss if it was a fair fight. It will be many years before they forgive and forget being called racists and having busloads of Democrats thrown against them.

Yep. I am no longer a republican.

Exactly. Make sure every Cochran voter knows that Thad is now beholden and obliged to the guys across the aisle who lent Cochran 5K+ RAT voters.

Hey, that’s a total vote getter in Mississippi.
No different than Clinton’s women voting for him.

Correction;

You are still a republican but are no longer a Republican.

You and anyone you know must know the difference.
