Yes, it is certainly possible for a woman to falsely accuse her husband/boyfriend. It is also possible for someone to be wrongly convicted of a felony, and virtually every gangbanger and thug released from prison also decries their total innocence. Therefore, I guess you also support the right of convicted felons to carry concealed.

I regularly listen to a Police Scanner, and can personally attest to the fact that the vast majority of Domestic Violence calls in my area are repeatedly and regularly dispatched to the SAME addresses. If these people are incapable of extracting themselves from a situation where regular 911 police responses are required, then yes, perhaps they are not mature or responsible enough to own weapons. I and 99% of the gun owners I know live law abiding, responsible lives. I am NOT willing to fight for the rights of those who choose to live in a violent abusive firestorm, year after year. When I regularly argue my 2nd Ammendment rights to others I ALWAYS, and PASSIONATELY point out I’ll be DAMMNED if they are ever going to restrict the rights of RESPONSIBLE, LAW ABIDING gun owners. I guess you feel I should abandon that argument, and start fighting to defend the rights of every and any piece of trash with a police car parked in front of their house every Saturday night.

And thanks for the crack about people like me being responsible for jackasses like Cuomo, bloomberg, and Diblasio being in office. It’s always nice to know that if I dare raise a mere question or point of discussion, I will be attacked.

So you’re comparing someone who has had a (possibly spurious) call made about them to a CONVICTED felon? And if calls are made “regularly” against someone, why aren’t they arrested and convicted? And yes, I think that people released from jail and prison should get their rights back, including voting and the 2nd Amendment. If they don’t deserve these back, they are too dangerous to be allowed back into society. It has to be one or the other. You’re either rehabilitated 100% or you should remain incarcerated. Got that?

I would just point out that you’re arguing about people who are repeatedly involved in domestic incidents.

But the law only requires one incident.
