Nope. NY Most of the mopars I owned with them were slant sixes. My boys who live home own 3 volare/aspens. 2 w/ Slant Sixes one with a 318 two bbl. Of course those electronic ignition cars don’t have the ballast resistor. (To my recollection...too lazy to go outside and look)

Ya know there is I believe a rubber seal that seats when the hood is closed. At least I think so.
Btw. I had an engine spark problem once and replaced the ballast resistor. Turned out it was something else. So from that day forward I had that spare.
