The modern day good Samaritan as defined by liberalism...

One of the favorite things liberals like to say about the conservative philosophy on welfare is that our attitude is basically one of "you're on your own."

I would love for liberals to explain how this is any different, if not worse.

Tell the robbers to wait until they arrive, while I call the police.

liberals OTOH say “wait here, I will get you money by stealing from a Conservative and I will take the credit!”

“Liberals measure their compassion by how many people they’re helping. We measure compassion by how many people no longer need our help.” — Jack Kemp

If there were no “victims” needing liberals’ “help”, they’d have to create some, so that is what they do. They need a permanent underclass. They will do whatever it takes to keep one.

You cannot care about others and be a liberal.

According to the US census conservative people and religious people give a higher percentage of their income to charity than those that are progressive or non-religious.

The only proof we have that Democrats love the poor is that they constantly back policies that result in more of them.

Yeah, well...all I know is that raising the minimum wage this time will end poverty in our time. All of those other times were just leading up to this time, because this time we're serious and we mean it.

And now, since we are the ones we've been waiting for, and since the right people are doing it right this time, in our time, poverty in America will be solved!!

Well...unless, of course, those evil Republicans get in the way and muck it up like they always do, and then we'll have to raise the minimum wage again and again until poverty and those Republicans have surrendered once and for all.

And we'll do it too. We'll end poverty then, at that time, because by then we'd really be the ones we've been waiting for, even more than we are now! Just you wait and see.
