Both parties are absolutely useless, and completely sold out.

Stop the immigration sell-out.

America already is the most open country in the entire globe.

Bring back American businesses, to America. Hire Americans. Do NOT increase immigration, and stop selling out our businesses.

For real.

Bring back American jobs.

Now.

Newsflash: Once again the GOP has an election in the bag if they don’t do anything stupid to screw it up. And here they come with something stupid...

Yes, we should push immigration reform.

We should push legislation that puts America first, and stops prioritizing immigration from the third world. Ensure that people have the means to support themselves, and have the ability to contribute to making us greater.

I wonder if any Federal land was acquired through confiscation from the original owners by BLM or EPA regulations.

Because the GOPEs value power more than principle (even over their non-conservative principles), I expect they will not pursue [illegal] immigration "reform" prior to the election. But once they are again secure in their seats it will most definitely be brought up for a vote ... especially if the present GOPE leaders retain their positions of power ... Guaranteed!

“It's been reported that Speaker John Boehner and other establishment Republicans told donors that they aim to pass immigration reform this year.”

This is the result of bad versus horrible. Many of the people on this forum will be furious this election because their Republican (Representative/Senator/whatever)voted for this stupidity. They will be mad and determined to never vote for the fool again!

Then the curtain in the voting booth closes. Most will be faced with:

- the idiot Republican that just sold you down the river.
- an ultra liberal, anti-American, democrap
- a variety of third party candidates that have no chance.

As you ponder the situation, your mind goes through possibilities - “I vote protest and cast my vote for one of the third parties - that will teach them.” except for the fact that this almost surely means this will get the anti-American democrap candidate elected (think not, look at the 1992 Presidential election.)
“I just vote at all” - see the above outcome.

Ultimately, most will hold their nose, try to keep lunch down, and vote for the Republican as the lesser of two evils. And the Republicans know this. No self respecting conservative could ever vote for most of the democrap candidates. So the Republicans can pander to big business, and still know we'll have no choice but to vote for them.

Ain't life grand in these times - sarcasm off.

That the GOP establishment is persisting in something that the base absolutely HATES tells me that the illegal alien/open borders lobbies are insisting on getting what they have already paid for.

With Cruz now interested in Immigration Reform, I imagine it just got a ton easier for the Republicans to pass anything they want.

I am praying Republicans will win both houses in November, but given their track record I am pretty sure as of today that they are going to screw it up.

Are Republicans stupid enough to self destruct while they are running ahead? Well yes, yes they are. They will find the worst thing they can do, and do it.

I hope they push it hard, and now, before most state have their primaries. See the GOPe candidates go down to defeat.
