So you say you want a revolution…

First, let’s be clear that this is about perceptions. The BLM vs. Cliven Bundy story isn’t about who’s in the right or who’s in control; it’s about who appears  to be in the right and about who appears to be in control.

A little background first. Cliven Bundy is a rancher who lives outside of Mesquite, Nevada. His family has been ranching on that land since before Nevada became a State. The Bureau of Land Management, BLM, claims control of the land the Bundys graze their cattle on. Bundy’s position, in a nutshell, is “I was here first”. But like I said, the right or wrong of the arguments isn’t anywhere near as important as public perception.

The BLM has been arguing with Bundy over grazing fees for two decades now. Note that I said arguing and not doing X, Y, or Z. So right away, who looks to be in the weaker position? Not Cliven Bundy. Now, over 20 years later, the BLM is attempting to flex its atrophied muscles to intimidate the Bundys into paying the fees. Remember that this is about perception. That last sentence can be called hyperbole, but that is the perception and the BLM should have realized it before this fiasco began.

The Federal Government and more than a few State Governments have severely over-reached; particularly where the 2nd Amendment is concerned. It's one thing to get people mad enough to write letters; it's quite another to so infuriate them that they load up their guns and head for the Nevada hinterlands. And passing new laws is supposed to be an example of a strong government asserting its power. How does that happen when a shiny new law inspires hundreds of thousands of scofflaws? It doesn't. And there's nothing like an empty threat to let the other guy know just how powerless you really are. (I'm looking at you, Gov. Andy!)

The last line of “Checks and Balances” defense for “We, the People” was the Republican Leadership in the US House of Representatives until late 2014.

When Reid and Obama shut down part of the US Federal Government last Autumn, that same Republican Leadership in the US House caved in to “Stonewall” Reid, and “No Negotiation” Obama, leaving “We, the People” with no Federal protection from the well documented, arrogant tyranny of the Obama Administration, and the Godless Democrat Party.

Now “We, the People” are given a rare, gifted opportunity to change our failed Republican Leadership in the US House and Senate, as we stand witness to the tyrannical brute force of the most powerful Nation that the World has ever known being leveled against an aged and last Rancher in Clark County, Nevada.

Our patience with the cowardly Republican Members in the US House of Representatives is nearly gone, as we wait with dimming hope for them to quickly replace Boehner, McCarthy, Cantor, Issa, Rogers, King of NY, and Ryan with fire-in-the-belly Leaders such as Trey Gowdy and Joe Wilson of SC, and Gomert of TEXAS.

It is time - - - - for a change.

The BFLM is currently a more accurate abbreviation of the BLM.

The BFLM is the abbreviation for the Bureau of FEUDAL Land Management.

Feudalism is what Europe was based on, and if it was good enough for Europe, then it is good enough for America!

Currently, the purpose of the BFLM is to provide land, free of charge, to the Commune-organized Obamanation to do with as the ruling Senate and Administration Feudal Lord Democrats see fit.

Predictions are that the cave-in Doormat Republican Leaders will, as usual, just huff and puff on TV, as required by the 2 year Congressional “No Fight Deal” that Ryan, Pelosi, Reid and Obama have forced them to sign.

Obama now knows in his smug arrogance that his “Obamanation Transformation of the United States of America” will continue unchallenged as long as Boehner and McConnell are kept in power as leaders in Congress.

“All ye lowly, collateral-damaged, Feudal Serfs bow to thine arrogant Feudal Democrat Lords!”

FORWARD!

Now, over 20 years later, coincidentally while zero is emperor....

I’ve been following this, but just learned today that at one point in this ‘Cowboys v. Statists’ showdown, it was an actual ‘guns up’ showdown.
Makes me miss Oklahoma.

The dispute between Bundy and the BLM started during the Clinton Administration. Der Schlickmeister was obviously more interested in *ahem* other things. He's also not the flaming Commie the little missus is; and, Janet El Reño provided enough drama back in those days. BLM knew better than to pursue the issue and deliver up another bloodbath. But now that they're under new management, the BLM reflects the interests of their new master. "Mom jeans" wants to be seen as one powerful Kenyan. Blinking with such vigor isn't helping with that makeover.

“Grazing fees”? Why should there even be such a thing? Seriously?

For the first time, I have contemplated just how far I would go to protect our nations freedom from tyrannical rule. If I believe there are a great number of Americans that still hold these truths to be self evident, I'd risk life and limb if that's what it comes to. And this offense, along with New York and Connecticut gun bans is indeed inspiring, if not convincing.

There’s nothing wrong with the government charging a fee for a service. But other than processing the paperwork for Harry Reid’s Chinese land swap, I’m not sure what service they’ve provided to Mr. Bundy.

What “service”? The rancher is doing all the work, and the land is not being deplenished of anything.

In theory, things like road maintenance. But looking a Google Earth, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of that going on around Mesquite. The dude who normally drives the grader must be off learning Mandarin.

According to his daughter, that’s the reason Bundy starting tendering payment to the state of Nevada. The BLM wasn’t doing jack, except for hassling him over the dammed terrapins.

Commercial banks: $301.8 billion (2.1 percent)
State, local and federal retirement funds: $320.9 billion (2.2 percent)
Money market mutual funds: $337.7 billion (2.4 percent)

Think about what it’d take to transport 100 million fully-equipped soldiers across the world’s largest ocean without detection. There’s a reason that even 1% of that has never been done. There’s not enough ships, airplanes or anything else to pull that off in 20 years time, not to mention not enough food, fuel, drinking water, etc. Think about how long and how much effort went into putting enough troops in the British Isles to pull off Normandy. Even a Red Dawn scenario is very far-fetched. And remember ... there are enough firearms in the US to give every adult 3 or 4.

Detection would not matter. The armed forces have been gutted of real Americans in top leadership positions, so We The People would never know they were coming. By the time a few real American junior officers went rogue and disclosed the invasion it would be too late.
