Palemoon is not only based on Mozilla but Owned by Mozilla.

Utterly false. No one owns open source.

i'm using Pale Moon too, but have noticed many more pop-ups.

I have zero on either except for sites I have whitelisted. You do have popups disabled and Adblock Plus or similar installed, don't you?

I’ve noticed more popups also even with the same ad blocking extensions.

Go to tools, add-ons. Check your extensions and add ons. You will probably have to re inable them. Especially if you use Ad Blocker, Ghostery, and so on.

I think that message was given because of the integration with AOL.

I have never received that message and I went to a bunch of “Right Thinking” websites to test it.

Still, with Google being the Patron of Mozilla and accounting for some 80%+ of Mozilla’s nearly $400 million in revenue, we are going to continue to be told the Internet, long considered the Wild West, is being fenced off by Google.

Funny. For a group of people who originally fought against corporatism and conformatity, we sure are being told how to think, what we can read and who we can associate with.

Think of Facebook and how they integrate with Google as well.

Put up something about guns “You’re Fired!”.

Put up something that might hurt the feeeeeeeeelings of 0.0000001% of the homosexual community and “You’re Fired!”

Use alternative browsers and search engines.

Besides, Google only touches 20-25% of the Internet.

There are plenty of other options out there.

Not just Mitchell Baker, but also that jackass CEO of OKCupid. The one who was later shown to have donated to “antigay” candidates and causes as well.

Still trying to figure out how boycotting a free product is going to affect anything.

There is a simple solution that will allow you to continue using Firefox but cut off their money stream from you.

Install Ghostery. It will block ads, trackers, widgets, etc. It is completely customizable by website if you want. That way you can have the ads or widgets you want, where you want (say Amazon or whatever) but not anywhere else.

The price is right, FREE.
