Aside from the following, a rare moment of lucidity from Juan Williams.
“They cited her roles in pushing the false claim of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. They also point to her support for using enhanced interrogation techniques to get information from terror suspects.
The facts are right. The conclusion is wrong.”
I am continuously amazed at how flagrantly racist white, liberals from the north are towards blacks - and how they get away with it too.
And Rice isn't even a conservative. IIRC, she's pro-abortion, pro-gay, and pro-amnesty.
A successful black conservative illustrates to other blacks that Democrats are not necessary for a black person to excel. Their very presence proves it is possible to conduct ones life without becoming a burden on their fellow citizens.
If you think the reason Rutgers rejected Rice was phony look at the reason Johns Hopkins rejected Dr. Ben Carson.
If you want to piss off a Conservative, tell him a lie; if you want to piss of a Liberal tell him a truth.
Condoleezza’s a Conservative? Who knew?
Condi, sadly, is doing those INSIPID “Ban Bossy” commercials.
Plus, she is pro-abortion. She needs to stick to foreign policy.
The problem is, when you have a Condi Rice, Walter Williams, or Clarence Thomas, they can't be used in the same manner and are therefore vilified. God forbid a poor black kid looks up to one of these Uncle Toms and decides to do something with his/her life. Once less Democratic voter and there is no way Libs would tolerate that.
yes a descendant of the original Rutgers Jacobszen..probably a great great grandson...
I just googled the Rutgers Library website which says..
“The progenitor of the American branch of the Rutgers family was Rutger Jacobse (d. 1665), who emigrated in 1636 from the village of Schoenderwoerdt in the Netherlands to Fort Orange (Albany) in the colony of New Netherland. The family established itself in New York City around 1690, when Henry’s great-grandfather, Harmanus (Harman) Rutgers, relocated there from Albany.”
I never looked into his whole family tree, but the school is unquestionably named after Col. Henry Rutgers, not any of his relatives.
for some reason I thought it was the direct ancestor..
but I was pointing out that the family name was not Rutgers originally..
that was the first name of his gggf and not the surname...
the original Rutgers changed his name a few years after he came to the US...
Thanks for clarifying. That is interesting.
