Are Obama and his boss Valerie Jarrett stupid? NO they are not STUPID. Why is Obamacare so fraught with insurmountable "glitches"?
My take on this planned instigated fiasco: Hussein Obama and his inner handler Valerie Jarrett are intent on destroying the private Insurance industry.
Obama and Jarrett and their cabal have planned well ahead, they know without a doubt that no where near enough of the younger population will be buying mandated medical insurance.
As policy sales suddenly drop off a cliff due to government forced minimum coverages Insurance companies will have no choice but to raise their prices. Policy pricing will skyrocket forcing many that are insured to drop their policies because they will become unaffordable. When 1/2 the country ends up uninsured a massive medical care crisis will engulf the country
... Never allow a good crisis (Fabricated or otherwise) go to waste. Right?
Obama/Jarrett will then gleefully implement their ultimate plan, they will offer a panicked population "protection". Yes America, you can expect to be manipulated (forced) into SINGLE PAYER healthcare by mid 2014.

They are not unified right now. During the shutdown they were unified by the shutdown, but now they cant be.
Obama is done running for office and he has no choice but to defend Obmacare but he needs to head off Democrat defection votes on anti-Obamacare bills. defections by those up next year
Then ya got 2014. If Obama loses the Senate he can bash the GOP congress for his last two years, but he wont get a single agenda item passed for his whole second term.

When the dismantling of our former healthcare system is areality and nearly 1/2 of the population is completely w/o any kind of healthcare, single payer will be automatic by near fiat. That is how a crisis is manipulated, the majority Republican Senate and House, even if a reality will have no choice but rubber stamp the "fix"... Single Payer or catastrophe. The Obama/RAT Party created health CRISIS will have achieved their desired outcome

I heard about it last June from a IL BCBS coder who developed their exchange. When I said his idol lied, he could’ve cared less. When HE said the exchanges would fail the Feds would run the system, I said that would be single payer. He said that was the plan and they had not released that to the public. He had been consulting in DC then, and now is part of the HHS fix-it squad.

To my understanding it was that various states could not get an exchange up. However, my sentiment was the federal clean-up of a problem THEY created would facilitate in the ultimate liberal wet dream. My general interest was on how the insurance industry would navigate this new icy water. He seemed fairly calm the large corps would merge fine w any regs.
The thing is that Obamacare already took over health care.
But unlike single payer letting the private insurance companies manage the claims and the states create their own exchanges was intended to spread the blame around when rough waters hits.
On a related note on Kelly file she reported that a number of MSNBC hosts met at WH with Obama and plotted a counterattack strategy to blame MSM, insurance companies and GOP for Obamacare problems, and this is intended to rally libs (progressives) behind Obama again. (recall 2006 and freepers complaining 'Why doesnt Bush fight back?'. libs want Obama to fight back and not admit anything is wrong. )
And today's Senate rules change was related. Not only did it distract from Obamacare but it was a gift to Democrat progressives to rally them behind Obama again for the Obamacare fight, when many were upset his administration screwed up the rollout. It let Dems change subject from Obamacare to GOP 'obstruction'.
Obama’s recent LOW ratings will make this interesting.
