This is incredible. This guy slowed down the audio of crickets at the ratio of the length of their life to that of a human. What you get is what sounds like music, chorus singing! On he audio you hear both tracks, crickets at normal speed and crickets at the slowed down speed. No music or sounds effects had been added. Worth a listen.

Most of the audience heard nothing but crickets in reply, but to Obama, it seemed that the heavens opened up and choirs of angels began to sing his praises.
But that's mostly because Obama is slow-witted.

I kept parrots for years, all kinds.
Had an Amazon that would screech so loudly it drove me nuts....so one day after target shooting I can into the house and the bird was raising hell, so I put on my hearing protection and...
It was a PERFECT copy of my cell phone ringer, just so loud it would distort my ears. The bird was demanding attention, like the cell phone got when it rang.
Learned something that day.
