Where is the part about the jug-eared girly man?
I love you.
My pastor says.the same. He will create choas to calm it and be hailed a hero.
When I lived in Seattle, my father and I did a lot of saturday morning discussions on the bible. He’s hard nosed about the KJV being the only “real” english translation. Meanwhile, I found it comical that my “KJV only” pastor, in just last week’s sermon, “re-interpreted” for the congregation a confusing word in the KJV to the very word the NIV uses. :-D
My father strongly believes the Pope is the antichrist. My take on all this stuff is that he could be, but I’m not standing firm on any of this prediction stuff. Look how it works in the bible. Nobody ever KNOWS what the prophesies mean before they happen except those given divine revelation.
And that was NEVER through a book sold at Costco.
I see most prophesy as having two main purposes:
1. Stating a message from God regarding why the thing prophesied about is going to happen.
2. When it happens, it is proven to be prophesy and, therefore, the message is amplified.
Sitting around trying to figure out what this or that prophesy means and trying to nail it to individuals and events is an exercise in futility. John the baptist KNEW who Jesus was when he saw him. He didn’t have to search and interpret prophesy or consult biblical scholars. God showed him what he needed to know, when he needed it.
{{{HUGS}}} Laz!
It can and will at some point be what will be our history. God said it Will Be.
No doom here! Waiting ... am simply waiting.
I’ll trust Dad.
First a preface: I say everything below as a bible believing Christian.
I’ve noticed that for many, many people, the church culture is a place where you can basically switch off your intellect and trust any claim allowed to enter through the door. I’ve seen claims made in a church by visiting preachers and authors that are utter and complete nonsense. Some of it I even believed at the time.
And con men have figured this out. It is nothing new. Look at the old time travelling “bible salesmen”. What is interesting about this is that we are instructed, “...be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves...”.
It is a HUGE mistake to believe the claims of another man just because he claims to come in the name of God. We are to study the scriptures and pray to honor our responsibilities to ensure and nurture a personal relationship with Christ.
The rest will be revealed to us as we have need, as it was to Stephen.
and none shall know the time nor the place ... yes ... perfect.
The book is written as fiction.
It’s why audio “dramatazations” of actual books of the bible include absolutely NO words that are not there. Heck, in one of these a croud is shouting and you can’t make out a single actual word anyone is saying. It sounds odd, but the producers of the audio did not want to be inserting words that were not there.
I don’t handle “bible prophesy based” fiction particularly well. I avoid it at all costs, frankly.
and it all comes down to you.
I don't know if the hewn stone was a cornerstone and symbolic, but I think there was just the one.
The sycamore that was uprooted in front of the church was replaced with some kind of evergreen tree.
A member of Congress arrogantly read one of the passages of scripture, we will rebuilt better . . .words to that effect.
They talk of the duality of scripture. I don't think we are supposed to privately interpret prophecy but you can't help pondering over it.
Yesterday all over the web was Ezekiel 28 and 29 plus a Psalm. They deal with Gog Magog, Tubal, a northern land. It fits Russia and the satellite countries.
But they talk of riding on horses. How does that fit in with today's military vehicles? Maybe they will have to revert to horses for some unknown reason.
I looked up Cahn's church and was curious about it. I wrote an email and asked, among other things, if/how they celebrated the Eucharist. I received no reply.
I think he is a great preacher, can really help us with the Old Testament through his Jewish background and knowledge of the Hebrew language.
or #3 He is a judgement on the nation. I do not believe he is the antichrist . I do believe he is anti Christ I do believe he is helping to set up antichrist kingdom and that he is deliberately destroying this nation to do so.
I believe we have the government we deserve because this nation has turned it's back on God and kicked him out.
I also believe that is reason why America is not anywhere clearly in prophesy.
Eze_39:6 And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
All of this aside, I say Obama is not the anti-Christ, as the anti-Christ would never need to use a teleprompter.
up to the horse’s bridle so shall the flow be.
Amen ... Amen
LOL .... and it all comes down to a teleprompter.
I was thinking about that and also modern military vehicles that are good in the Middle East terrain. Maybe something happens where they have to revert to horses. It really seems like the horses were literal.
