Fox News’ Growing Pro-Homosexual Bias and the National Gay & Lesbian Journalists Association

It is difficult to overstate the impact of wide-scale liberal media bias in the advancement of the pro-homosexual and pro-“transgender” revolution in American society. In the last two decades, media imbalance (and de facto censorship) on the issue has morphed into frequent media celebration of homosexuality — thus leaving citizens starved for impartial and accurate information on this critical topic. “Journalism” has become pro-homosexual propaganda, with many media stories appearing as if they were written by LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) activists. By effectively joining the “gay” activists’ crusade, major media outlets – and even “conservative” Fox News — have contributed greatly to the growing pro-homosexual political correctness in U.S. culture. This in turn has fueled even more aggressive militancy among pro-LGBT groups and bloggers who are lobbying the media to block social conservatives from TV appearances, etc., on the grounds that such anti-homosexual-agenda voices are “hate groups.” The result is the further degradation of journalism that has contributed to Republican and conservative ambivalence on issues like same-sex “marriage” and allowing open homosexuals in the military. So bad is the media groupthink on homosexuality that even self-described “conservatives” like Glen Beck and Tucker Carlson have either endorsed or made positive soundings on “gay marriage,” or gone silent on LGBT issues.1

The degree to which the “mainstream” media have become promoters of the homosexual- and transgender activist movements is astonishing. Below is a graphic from a recent Pew Research Center study analyzing media coverage surrounding the U.S. Supreme Court’s hearing in March 2013 of two cases related to homosexual “marriage.” Pew labeled a story as “supportive” of homosexual “marriage” if it included at least twice as many pro-“gay marriage” statements as opposing statements – and vice versa for stories labeled “opposing”2:

I think Glenn Beck is now understanding that Social issues are crucial. You can never separate economy from morality-—doesn’t work. Justice is a Virtue which is Social/moral.

He used to be Libertarian-—but I think his association with Barton and Rabbi Lapin is swinging him over.

I turned off Fox News a decade ago-—I could tell that none of them were conservative-—except maybe Hannity and Hannity got annoying with repetition and everyone yelling at once and limited intellect/information.

You can never have a “civil” society or a Free Republic without Virtue (morality). That is essential—and even Socrates knew this. Montesquieu also stated that Free Republics need to promote Virtue. (never Vice).

Morality and Religion (and all the Founders knew this) is essential for Freedom. Beck keeps claiming we need to return to God, also. God is Truth.

I am skeptical of everyone except God/Bible/St. Thomas/CS Lewis/GK Chesterton/Thomas Sowell..... and a few others-——if the people express the opinions of the previous names-—good—I will agree and accept their premise. No one has the complete “Truth” on earth so they all can be wrong at times also.

Searching for the Truth is key. It is a lifetime pursuit-—and never “ends”.

Greta is by far the best host they have. She knows how to do an interview without talking over the guest. Yet, if a guest is not answering the question she interrupts at the appropriate time and tries to prod an answer out of them. Unlike Hannity, Greta actually hears the guests answer and responds to it. Hannity just seems to respond with whatever talking point he has on his mind. I like him, but he is not a gifted interviewer.

So we thought that an amoral scumbag from Australia really cared about the conservative agenda?

Can you say "demographic slice"?

To him conservatives are just a healthy slice of the demographic pie that he can sell crap too.

Why he is going pro-home all of a sudden makes me think that he is either crazy (why threaten your demographic moneymakers?) or that he thinks there's more money to be had from the homo demographic slice.

"Queer Eye for the Homophobic Guy?" or maybe "David Brooks' World: Conservative with an extremely small 'c'."

Fox programming of the future.

No television personality - no matter how beautiful, funny, smart or with the appearance of “ really caring” about me - none of them have the power to change my opinion about right and wrong.

I haven’t watched FoxNews in years. Fox is a big old worm on a hook nothing more. I decided I do not need to take the bait.

I don’t watch any “news entertainment” in over a decade. It’s all crap from MSNBC to FOX. All of it.

So Beck is pro-sounding on homo issues? No, he’s not. I listen to him every day. This blog “article” is alarmist BS.

The Fox Business Channel is becoming more newsworthy. . . . .too much go along to get along at the FNC. Too many tweets and twitters and empty stories. We switch constantly to FBC and watch Charles Payne, Lou Dobbs, Neil Cavuto. Fox News Channel should take a look at World Net Daily before going on the air.

I’m old but not that old. . .our country is in the tank. Just thinking about it all gives me a royal headache.

Well, I hope you’re right about Beck. I just remember him last year taking a “who cares?” and “no big deal” attitude about fag marriage. It’s the primary reason I frankly just gave up on him and stopped listening to his show.

Contrary to popular opinion, Fox News is just another left wing news organization. The only difference is a thin conservative veneer hiding the agenda.

Fox presents and/or promotes the “conservative” ideals that the left wing can live with. Hence, the full court press to get Willard nominated while ignoring other candidates.

I heard that, too....and was disappointed and he was even claiming a return to “God”—plus, I am a little leary of Mormonism/mysticism/irrationality.

But a few months ago, David Barton was explaining why you can’t have homosexual “marriage” which eliminates sexual morality= and destroys the basic unit of civil society, the Natural Family.

Beck seemed to “get it” a little more-—Don’t think he understands 100% the corrosive dehumanization when you glorify/celebrate sexual depravity-—how corrupting that is to morality and normal sexual development of children in such a toxic culture-—it corrupts/destroys the innocence of children and warps their perceptions.

Don’t think he understands how awe/mystery/innocence is essential in children for that worldview that people/humans have dignity and worth-—so their perceptions isn’t warped.....he doesn’t realize that Lukacs designed Sex Ed to destroy morality in children and insert unnatural, perverted ideas which can’t be erased when children look at others. Sex Ed removes morality from the sex act-—it ejects Christian Ethics from children.

Beck is smart-—seems to want the “Truth”—and he has a lot of Common Sense. There has been decades of “Will and Grace” disinformation (Marxism) to warp perceptions that Beck was immersed in—all of us-—were exposed to the agitprop to eject Christianity and insert Satanic Ethics...and they tie emotions (Good to Evil) so emotionally-—it feels “good” to support depravity—you are “kind”, “nice” etc., if you support depravity (and corrupt or kill children).

Marxism (God is Dead) is always irrational because they invent Right and Wrong by the evil ideology of the “Means is justified by the Ends”.

No it isn’t I like Glenn, but he is turning me off with his Libertarian junk. Just watch his discussion with Laurie Dhue. All fine and dandy till they both go off on legalizing drugs. And Beck goes into his tag line of I’m turning more and more libertarian everyday. The guy is not conservative on some or all social issues. He has give us mixed messages on his stance on homosexuality. I wish it weren’t so, but its true.

I will say this though, Beck is not going into a promotion binge on these issues. He is staying out of the fray. But don’t expect him to be on top of social issues. I still like him and watch him and his network and wish him well.

The Today show’s Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford hosted the 15th Annual NLGJA Headlines & Headliners benefit last night in New York City.

The event brings out the biggest names in TV news from across the networks. Before breaking into song, Gifford told the crowd of gay journalists, “This whole don’t ask don’t tell thing. I mean if you guys want to serve in the millinery, that’s fine with me. Go, sew, sew, make your hats. That’s fine. I’m all for it.” (Video after the jump)

We chatted with the Fox Newsies, Jamie Colby, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Megyn Kelly. Kelly whipped out her iPhone to show us a picture of baby Edward who turned six months old yesterday.

NBC’s Weekend Today co-anchors Jenna Wolfe and Amy Robach were there. Robach — a newlywed — introduced her husband, the actor Andrew Shue to the crowd.

We chatted up CNN’s State Department correspondent Jill Dougherty and features reporter Jeanne Moos.

CBS News correspondent Manuel Gallegus — normally reporting from Los Angeles is calling New York home these days. A crowd gathered around HLN’s Jane Velez-Mitchell who told us a gentlemen she’d just met may show up as a guest on “Issues” in the coming days.

New mom CNBC’s Trish Regan, MSNBC’s Contessa Brewer and CBS’s Erin Moriarity were also in attendance.
