Yeah, let’s set the precedent that any usurper can run and no one will question his bonafides.
By not questioning Zero, the precedent will be set that any freaking criminal using fake papers and even ostensibly a non-NBC can run for president. So Putin or Kim Jung Il or whatever his name is could come over here, donate sperm to some female, leave, and the child could be a US president. Also by not questioning the forged documents, that sets the precedent that any candidate can forge documents and lie about his past and his identity and no one will question this.
Maybe people think these are great precedents, but I don’t.

The question for Cruz comes from natural born citizen vs. naturalized citizen. Obama is ineligible mainly because he forged a birth certificate to say something that was false, making his entire candidacy a sham. If he had come out and said his situation was the same as Ted Cruz’, except in Kenya, the senate would have probably given him the go-ahead.
I too would like this to be sorted out for good (who can run), but that would require someone to take it to the SCOTUS.
