Pray’s up for Brad’s Grandpa from here in PA...
BG, three years ago this coming Monday (July 15) my husband had a 100% blockage of his LAD; he was a Code Blue in ER and had to have emergency catherizations done. He’s a Type 2 (now Type 1) diabetic (has kidney issues also)...so I know how scary this time is for you. PaDad survived and is still able to work.
Please keep your faith strong; prayers do so much. Alot of FReepers offered up prayer and I believe it help pull him thru.

Just now seeing this. Oh my BG! This is awful. Much prayers going and hoping it’s not too late. May Ron be comforted and pulled through this. We always pray for that. But we preface it with, “If it be Your Will, Lord.” I don’t ever want to be responsible for keeping someone here who is “supposed” to be with the Lord.

Has been stable since 7:00 am
Still on hypothermial (sp?) treatment so he's being kept alive w/machines.
Body temp @34 degrees, they're going to slowly start warming him at 11:30 tonight, which will be the real telling factor for the heart stabilizing or not and most importantly, if any brain damage occurred.
His cardio said that what happened in February w/the kidney failure happened again, but in a big way.
A pastor HAS been in to see him...
I found the medical directive and am bringing it in...we've already gone past his wishes. I am going to probably make that icky decision tonight IF things don't go well...I'll cross THAT bridge IF it comes. Ya know?
That's about all I have till tonight.
