Why don’t John McCain and Lindsey Graham just get a room or something. As soon as I heard that Lindsey Graham didn’t like filibuster, I knew that McCain would be soon to follow with the same garbage.

I appreciate Senator McCain and Grahams opinion on this matter, however I staunchly disagree.
We are in this mess because of the the type of behavior you saw played out last night. While Several Republican Senators and I filibustered to adress a basic Human Right and a Constitutional one, Senator McCain and Graham decided to dine with the ONE person in America that thinks he has the right to use Drones to Kill American Citizens on US Soil.
There are those of us that were Sent to Washington to Clean up the Mess created thru dinner meetings, back office sell outs and kickbacks. Then there are those that are afraid their turf is being challanged. They prefer to cower and capitulate versus Challange and Defend what is good and Great about this country.
Obviously had Senator McCain’s opinions and positions been a popular one He would be the President instead of a Senator.
Then sit back and watch the EMTs haul the old goat away in a straight jacket.
Yeah, I know he endured very brutal treatment in a POW camp and I respect and appreciate that sacrifice but geez, I think it’s time to go.
MCCain also treated with contempt the families of POW and embraced his former captors. Happened long a go but it is something I can not forget.

According to the White House, Obama did pay for the meal out of his own pocket, not any government funds. Of course, given history, we can't necessarily believe this, but no evidence has as yet been offered to the contrary.
The argument that because we pay his salary that everything he spends is really us spending it doesn't fly. Once we pay his salary, it's his to do with as he pleases, just as anyone else is. I don't hold an employer accountable for the personal spending decision of his employees.
The reason why McCain and Grahamnesty are so upset is they are the neo-con crowd like the 2003 GOP era, They disagree with Paul on this issue.
If the gubment thinks you are a terrorist then they say you are expendable with all your rights.
“Keeping you safe” Better to blow up a few innocent Americans then have the terrorists kill thousands. Plus you cant sue if you are dead.
They are hot on amnesty because it can be used to get low capability Army recruits, traded for a fast path.
