Obama DHS Purchases 2,700 Light-Armored Tanks to Go With Their 1.6 Billion Bullet Stockpile

This is getting a little creepy.

According to one estimate, since last year the Department of Homeland Security has stockpiled more than 1.6 billion bullets, mainly .40 caliber and 9mm.

DHS also purchased 2,700 Mine Resistant Armor Protected Vehicles (MRAP).

Modern Survival Blog reported:

The Department of Homeland Security (through the U.S. Army Forces Command) recently retrofitted 2,717 of these ‘Mine Resistant Protected’ vehicles for service on the streets of the United States.

Although I’ve seen and read several online blurbs about this vehicle of late, I decided to dig slightly deeper and discover more about the vehicle itself.

The new DHS sanctioned ‘Street Sweeper’ (my own slang due to the gun ports) is built by Navistar Defense (NavistarDefense.com), a division within the Navistar organization...

What I don’t get is that the DHS does not have a branch called “Homeland Security”.

The vehicles are used by DHS "Special Response Teams"

Buy bullets and Tanks! But release illegals because DHS has no money! Someone is cooking the books!

I honestly shouldn’t weigh in here, but I will. If we look at the threat matrix, the highest threat to the US comes from internet hacking of the electrical grid by way of introduction of a Stuxnet type virus. Interesting thing about that is that there are two likely attackers, N. Korea and Iran and Iran is the number one threat. The prime target would be the grid controller systms in the Northeast and along the West Coast and in Illinois. A successful attack would cripple switching/load balancing systems across a major portion of the grid. When that happens, water supplies fail and the Urban Animals go viral within 48 hours just like Katrina.

I think the recent hack attacks on gov’t sites and banks in the last two weeks have this Federal Gov’t seriously concerned about a grid hack, or worse, multiple grid hacks. If it happens, the only thing people will be able to do will be to flee the cities as fast as humanly possible and BEFORE the DHS/Military pours in and chokes off all avenues of escape. And worse, its obvious they’re training for this. We’ve seen helicopter drills in Houston/Pasadena and there were many sitings of Black Hawk helicopters over West Houston this weekend. And they’re stock piling military gear at a brand new Army facility on I-45 just north of Beltway 8. What really worries me is that they’ll close all avenues of escape before anyone can get out to increase their body count.

But, but there’s a sequestration on. How can we the taxpayers afford to buy vehicles with which to oppress ourselves when we can’t afford fuel for our carriers to go fight the M.E. terrorists?

If they were being stored they would not have DHS or cop markings. They would be stored at a base somewhere. The AF has storage of war ready materials at each base. These are brand new equipment that is not used for daily operations.

I am sure Todd Schnitt would opine that there is nothing to be concerned with. he Government does this everyday and only kooks worry about our Government doing anything sinister.

But as for me, My FRiend, I would opine that obama is preparing to kill or round upand confine in holding camps and then kill a large number of the inhabants of the United States shortly. This segment will comprise of his political enemies, former gun owners, White non Christian, Christians, land owners, farmers, business owners to start.

Also, everybody who decided that 4 more years of Obama would be preferable to Romney, and stayed home, please take a bow.

Also, everybody who insisted that only R0mney was 'electable'; that only R0mney could beat 0bama, and that every other Republican candidate must be nitpicked to death, please take a bow.

Also, every voter with a 10 second attention span, please take a bow ...

Jus' sayin'.

Nothing like so many have assured us (Including a number of fellow Freepers) it’s just for practice, nothing unsual about these purchases.

They are getting ready to put down an insurrection.

I don't believe it...I believe their strategy will be offensive rather than defensive...

No, the Nat’l Guard won’t play Obama’s game.

And, it’s also true there aren’t enough staff to use the resources being stockpiled.

It does have the effect of keeping inventory from American citizens.

You have to remember who is going to be running the show when the Left finally bares its fangs... a bunch of affirmative action know-nothings.

Once they start their assault, we will no longer be restrained by political correctness, and we will have the non-affirmative action types on our side... the ones who actually know how to do things.

Once they rile the beast, it will devour them.

Turns out it's ridiculously easy and safe to make, although not so easy to ignite.

Looks like I have an interesting project for next weekend!

Right, that is what is says on the trucks. And what exactly is that? Are they part of TSA or the Coast Guard? Secret Service? Or are they just bo’s personal army operating outside of congressional oversight or control?

OK, I see the video at the source. Part of the problem is two very different vehicles are shown.

Looks like a drug warrior vehicle.
