The anniversary of the killing of Trayvon Martin has led to a number of commemorative events in various cities around the country.
The 17-year-old high school student was shot and killed by a neighborhood watch volunteer in Sanford, Florida, on Feb. 26, 2012, sparking a national controversy. In the aftermath of the teenager’s death, there were a number of rallies in support of his family and denouncing racial profiling and gun violence.
A candlelight vigil will be held on Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. in New York City’s Union Square Park, with a moment of silence to begin shortly after 7 p.m. It was the same place where one of the first rallies in support of the Martin family was held in March 2012.
Another event is planned for Tuesday evening in Atlanta, where organizers are conducting a rally on the steps of the Georgia State capitol. The 5 p.m. gathering, which is billed as a “Remember and Act” rally, is being organized by a wide number of groups, including the student government organizations of Morehouse, Spelman and Clark Atlanta University. Other groups include the Georgia Federation of Teachers and the local chapter of the Communications Workers of America.
A rally was held in the Washington, D.C., suburb of Lanham, Maryland, this past weekend. The event, which was called “We Won’t Let You Fall,” was a tribute “to the life and legacy of Trayvon Martin,” and was held at the Mount Calvary Baptist Church...

I think we can pretty well believe that when the ‘scanner’ whose job it was to sensationalize a ‘violent crowd’ ran across the name George Zimmerman he was envisioning someone from VA who played 3B for the Washington Nationals or better yet a likeness of Jordan Zimmermann ‘EVEN WHITER’ with his Wisconsin upbringing etc.
I can see all the ‘little trolls and gnomes’ dancing with glee and would loved to have been around when it turned out George Zimmerman looked more like “Speedy Gonzales” than some lily white honky.
Just to be a fly on the wall when ‘they’ had to decide what to do, starting with making this punk Martin look like an innocent Gary Coleman, happily skipping his way back home after making a snack run.
Then they attempted to make George Zimmerman look as mean and distorted as possible, with dark angles, and a genuinely sinister look.
With the push this fiasco got even AFTER ‘they’ were exposed, I can imagine that if it were a ‘lily white’ Zimmerman,’they’ may have been prompted to take to the streets. It was hard to ‘rally’ the troops when they had egg on their face.
What would they be doing if George Zimmerman was dead?

The Zimmermann trial will have to be held in upper Mongolia for him to get an unreached jury of his peers.
Toxic publicity, prejudicial newspaper articles and biased, emotional TV reports (past, present and future) will compromise the court's ability to ensure a fair trial.
Heck, the judge may also be tainted....as Zimmermann's last one was.

It is interesting to note the level of ostrich behavior on the left about Trayvon.
So far, every piece of information released by the prosecution supports Zimmerman’s story.
Yet the race-baiters and leftists keep pushing this as a racist act.
In a manner of speaking, they are correct. It is a racist act against George Zimmerman to continue trying to push a narrative that is deader than Trayvon. But the DBM will continue to their dying breath.

I’ve seen what is alleged to be a screenshot of a page of posts he made on Twitter or Facebook (can’t recall which).On this page he writes something like “f**k some b**ch”.Now I now that what I saw might have been made up or altered but if,by chance,it was real then,IMO,it goes a long,*long* way toward proving that this kid was a filthy,knuckledragging punk.I’ve also read that not long before his death he was found by police or school officials (can’t recall which) to have been in the possession of a large quantity of women’s jewelry and burglary tools.Again,*if* that’s true it says “worthless scumbag punk” to me.
All of this gas makes me wonder if the upcoming trial will be viewed as more than just a trial (thinking LA riots).
What would they be doing if George Zimmerman had died? They would be marching in the streets protesting the arrest of another young innocent ghetto yuth falsly arrested for a crime he didn’t commit. You can be sure that his mama and papa would swear up and down that their boy never did anything wrong. He was a good boy. Hollywood liberals would be lining up to give to his defense fund.
I was thinking the same thing today. They must have not known that Zimmerman was Hispanic when they sent the news out. They were probably thinking he had to be a white man. Then the genie got out of the bottle and there was no getting him back. That explains the ridiculous “white Hispanic” description. They insisted on calling him a white man until it became so ridiculous that they had to change to a “Hispanic white man”. LOL
Once they hear racist their minds shut down.
