Group think? The fact that FR would not fall in line with the “group thinking GOP-e” that was dead set on pushing a sure-loser RINO like Romney in the primaries? How did that work out for the trueblue RINO guys?
If you wish to win the presidency as a Republican, do NOT run a guy who for thirty years supported abortion. And supported “gay” rights. Liberal judges. Big government. Mandated socialist healthcare, etc, etc, etc and had absolutely zero conservative accomplishments to his name. Romney was a sure loser from the get go!!!!

Again, Free Republic is clearly labeled. If you don’t agree with what we’re trying to accomplish here as pro-life, pro-family, constitutional conservatives, go elsewhere!

Wish that was true. In the last month or so I’ve seen/participated in several threads with GOP moderates demanding we embrace the faggotry and abortion in exchange for GOP votes. Some felt the loving embrace of amperage most Holy, but there are still plenty around.
Then there are the ‘win at “any” cost types still pretending conservative principles don’t matter. And unfortunately there are more of them lately.
So he got tossed.
I miss him. Thought I spotted him on another site(non-political) a bit ago but was too shy to ask if it was him.
