You didn't hear? They spun it off into another division called "GoodtimesVan," whereby instead of conveniently ordered foodstuffs are communicated to you curbside on the double, companions are brought to your beck and call, with all the fixins, such as STDs and all that sort of thing.
Business has been kinda up and down on the whole, as it were, but seems to be thriving in certain pockets. Take D.C. for example. Definitely performing favorably there among the political class as one might expect, esp since 2008 for some reason.
Being a political junkie you should know it's because your electoral process has been totally undermined and compromised. Limbaugh failed to notice this while flying around in his 30 million dollar jet, apparently you did too.
Your government and both political parties in D.C. completely backed and supported an invasion of millions of illegals. All while the legal immigration which needed to be dramatically reformed decades ago, became an ugly free for all to the point where we trained foreigners to fly our own aircraft into our own buildings killing thousands, sending the economy into a tail spin. Not enough? Those who run the banks, wall street and the fat corps hoodwinked the entire country as government bailed them out, over and over and over.
All this while Bush was celebrating cinco de mayo up in the White House, millions of illegals marched through the streets of our cities making demands and threats as they jammed foreign flags in your faces.
In fact, under Bush more Muslims were allowed into the U.S. after 911 than the previous 2 decades.
Divide the united...Big gov did it. Some people apparently missed it.

You're being replaced by waves of easily led illegal aliens, Communist and foreigners from socialist countries from all over the planet. And they expect the same socialist lifestyles and handouts here.

It isn’t perspective, it is a matter of facts, there was no purge of anti-Gingrich people, for instance many of the Cain, Bachmann, Santorum people were hard core against Gingrich (and vice-versa) with not a hint of problems with mgmt.
This has to be a Romneybot claim, they tend to make up things.
ANY even slightly negative comment at that time got a poster zotted. These included concerns about his triple marriage history, his compromise with Pelosi, his perceived weakness during the Gov't shutdown.
If anyone noted any of these points during that time period they were zotted. Them's the facts.

There were comments made and answered. What got people zotted was crossing the line. Threads spammed with the same comments, abrasive attitudes and harsh words, continuously trolling threads of a candidate posters opposed earned a zot. There was little discussion but a LOT of trolling taking place on all candidate threads.
However your comment is one I'd expect of someone with a moniker of "luvdubya". No surprise there.
Hopefully most are very aware of people like you who broadcast they love government politicians.

TBL which has a section dedicated to obsessing about FReepers, FR, and the mantra of “Yeah, FR is going down!”
Well, they might have gotten that reversed, as it turns out. While FR was down, I checked out TBL; most of their members have left for greener pastures, and the ones who are left are mourning over the death of the site, and what might have been. I don't believe in karma, but if I did, I'd say it bit them in the rear.
BTW, you mentioned digging up a troll thread from 2004. If you do, would you ping me to it? Being new, I've missed a lot, and I enjoy reading older threads.

I understand that at the time FR was doing all it could to support Gingrich. Some people do indeed have short memories.
