While the title says it all, I thought a goodbye was in order.
While I've been a FReeper for well over a decade, I must declare that it is time to part ways. While I have the greatest respect for a great many of you, the days where I can in good conscience remain silent about the issues that set me apart from the rest of FReeperdom have past. For clarity, or perhaps catharsis, I'm not entirely certain which, I'll lay them out on the table an call the ZOT™ down upon myself.
The racism: I just can't handle it anymore. FR has become increasingly racist since President Obama took office, and enforcement has dropped. Now, not a single crime can be reported with an "amish" comment, and I've yet to see a post express embarrassment or shame when lo and behold sometimes the perpetrators turned out to be lily white.
Homosexuality: FR is on the wrong side of history on this one, and I'll just leave it at that.
Mostly though, it's the hate. More and more posts reference violent solutions to political disagreements. Some subtly couched, others make no pretense. I wouldn't be surprised at all if I read in the morning paper that a FReeper murdered a federal bureaucrat or a federal judge.
I've learned so much, from so many of you, and for that I'm grateful. I genuinely and truly wish all of you well, and sincerely hope you all live out the rest of your lives in happiness.

Just because sometime becomes tolerated, then accepted; doesn’t mean it’s right.
I have never encountered "racist" comments here, except when libs or Islamists are quoted. I think the Amish comments are great irony. Freepers are the most informed and smartest people I have ever met.
How does one find the history of a posters comments? Anyone.
I’m wondering when “A Perfect Lady” is going to try to tell us again how people are “born that way”.
Also wondering if they’re going to talk about third grade boys wearing dresses and how it’s just so cute again.
We’ve had the promo for homo crowd here for awhile trying to claim all kinds of BS.
Had one once try to claim it was good clean family fun.
They seemed stumped about being asked if the Folsom Street Fair was good clean family fun that should be seen on every street in Hometown USA.
Had another try to claim that homosexuality is a conservative value.
And then let’s not forget ‘The Freemason’ recently as well as ‘Brightitude’, both pandering and preaching the wonders of homomarriage.
These clowns tend to post on another site that is mockingly called trewblew, a site where they have an entire forum section devoted to us, obssessing about us, and talking about trolling us, then they come here to see how they can flame out.
Wonder what Melas handle is at the other site?

Affirmative Action (the converse of ‘corruption of blood’) has had terrible effects on the race and on all of society- as it always has throughout history.
Recognizing and discussing that is neccessary to improving society for all.
It’s not a racial quality that has destroyed the negro in America, but policies that exploit them.
Guess it’s easy to conflate the policies with those they operate on.
Homosexuaity is not a good thing- as history shows. Of course neither is extreme reaction against it.

If you click on a person’s name in a thread it will take you to their home page. From there there’s a link to “In Forum” if you click on that it shows their posting history.
I’ve found that’s the easiest way.

There it is again...another voice trying to convince us of the increasing irrelevance of social issues. The other day someone said we were going to have to stop talking about abortion. The GOP has drafted the memo, and it's beginning to go out, slowly but surely.
The culture is rotting from the inside out. Unborn babies by the millions are being pulled out and thrown in the garbage dump; God is openly scorned and mocked. And we're being urged to accept the idea that two men messing with each others' filthy anal area, or two women abusing themselves with objects, is "marriage."
Tax cuts and fiscal policy won't save the country as long as moral degeneracy is tolerated and embraced. If you don't think those are "real" issues, I don't know what to say to you, but don't expect me to shut up about them.
