I would like to enlist the services of the Prayer Warriors for the grandson of a little girl who lived in my neighborhood when I was growing up. She's obviously not so little now, but is in need of your prayers.

Keegan James Dondlinger was born yesterday, November 23, 2012, but was due March 4, 2013, three days after my own grandson is due. He weighed 1.85 lbs, but he looks very well developed for being so young and so little.

He's been able to open his eyes, and to grasp his mother's finger.

Of course Keegan can still his great grandpa’s eyes too, since he’s still alive and kicking.

Keegan is having issues again. This from his Grammie Iris:

"Don't know anything for sure. Keegan went to ER with a seizure and a temp of 103. He also had a fairly high blood sugar. They ran a bunch of tests everything has checked out ok so far. His shunt seems to be ok. Some results won't be back till tomorrow. They are keeping him overnight for observation here in Lincoln at Bryan."

Also from his Mom:

"So we sitting at Bryan East with Keegan. He had a high fever and started having a seizure. They running tests now but his shunt still looks good so hopefully he just got sick."

Y'all know what to do.

As a little treat, here is Kegan and "The Minion" (sister Genervieve), they're first time this summer in Grammie's pool.

In other news, my Grandson Oscar started Montessori preschool yesterday. He was tired and somewhat grumpy when he got home (half days) but after his nap, he wanted to go back. Here he is with his equally curly haired friend on the way to school (yes in a bike trailer), the school is close to their homes.

Oscar is the "yellow" blond on the right, his friend is the white blond.

Oscar is also the blue eyed one. The same blue as his Grandma Gata, his Mom, his Aunt, and his 3 girl cousins. Also his maternal grandfather and great great grandfather. Dominant gene I guess, but seeing 6 pairs of identically colored eyes looking back at you, at the holiday table, can be a bit disconcerting.

A morning update from Grandma Iris:

Update on our Grandson. Slept good. Had a temp of 102 at 6:00am back down an hour later after meds. Seems to be back to his usual self. Waiting for Dr and test results. Thank you again for all the prayers.
