Buy Obamamerican? no thanks. I’m not paying more of my hard earned dollars and reducing my standard of living to support lavish lifestyles for union thugs.

Absolutely staggering regulations from unelected government officials & agencies along with the highest corporate tax rate in the world are what force companies to FLEE America just to survive are the dynamic here & have been since the 70s. Wages are a small factor in mass production!

I tried to but Hostess cupcakes today but couldn’t find any. I wonder if those jobs were “shipped out of the country”

countries where it is legal to pay slave labor wages

My understanding is that slaves don't get wages.
I spent many years buying American made shabby products in union shops with overpaid workers. Never drove anything excerpt GM products.

Now I'm retired and living on a fixed income and I have to be more selective. I am more concerned with getting the best quality I can get for my money.

If Americans with all of our great technology and superior experience can't compete with slaves shipping products from the other side of the world, don't lay it on me.

By doing this, the American people are actively participating in the destruction of the U.S. economy.

They did that on November 6th.

I will not shoulder the blame for trying to save every penny I can before the seemingly inevitable collapse.

I will also not feel bad for liberal scum that thought socialism would work.

" I’m not paying more of my hard earned dollars and reducing my standard of living to support lavish lifestyles for union thugs"

That's what I say when I catch flack about my Honda Accord. (made in Alabama, non union) When non union American makers can engineer and build a car that never leaks, runs forever and doesn't break down or have the interior fall apart like crap, then maybe I would reconsider. But I'm keeping this car. It's been running since 1998 with not one single problem--ever. And I could park it on a carpet and not worry about leaking.

Back to the topic: almost everything is made in a 3rd world country. Was shopping for brand name western boots: most of them Made In China. LOL but sad.

If we just decided to never do business with commies in general, we'd probably be doing without a lot of stuff.

I only drive Chevrolet. I've owned a 71 Monte, a 73 Camaro, a 2005 Suburban, and a 96 Silverado and a 91 Lumina minivan. I like to find a brand I like and stick with it. I am very VERY brand loyal and will pay extra for it...until you screw me.

My current truck is an 2004 Z71 Silverado that I've had since 2004. I had to replace nearly every component of the front end at least once.....both hub assemblies, the half-shaft, etc. And I don't abuse the truck nor do any heavy off-roading. 65000 miles and it became one thing after another.

I've replaced the idler arm THREE times, and I've also had to replace the transfer case.

The truck eats alternators like candy; I'm on my third.

The "premium" Bose surround sound 6 disc stereo system that is supposed to be tested and graded at the factory? GARBAGE!!! I had to have it removed. When it was "under warranty" I tried to have the stereo replaced; Shitvy said it wasn't covered under them and that I had to go to BOSE. BOSE said they didn't cover them as the stereos were subcontracted out to a different company. I ran into a BOSE rep at a trade show. I explained the situation and asked him if he had heard of any problems; his was response was "BOSE doesn't sub-contract." Even though I had contacted BOSE several times previously and had been told it was subcontracted. BOSE is another "made in the USA" company I will not support.

This is all on top of the the recall on the instrument cluster. The recall GM took their sweet time announcing. Which, the replacement cluster is crap too; there is a split diode so the gear indicator doesn't light up and my "ABS" idiot light sometimes comes on and sometimes goes off.....no issues with the ABS.

The thermostat for the climate control is garbage when you spin the dial, sometimes the temps increase/decrease the way you want and sometimes they do the opposite. Sometimes it just moves between the number you were on and the next number higher, back and forth back and forth.

I had to have the a/c completely re-done.

Even now, the the heater has a hard time blowing the floorboards AND the panel vents. If you want any kind of air it is one or the other, but not both.

The auto dimming mirrors work; sometimes.

The driver side marker light burns out every 10K miles.

The memory select seats only remember all the way forward, all the way down, no shoulder support, and no lumbar support.....no matter how many times you set them to "remember" something else; this is what it returns to.

Now that it is Government Motors, I certainly do NOT expect quality has improved.

I used to be a diehard Chevy fan.......but it is time to just let Chevy die hard. I have purchased my last vehicle from them.

I wish Nissan or Toyota would make a 2500 Series Diesel pickup.

As a wise fellow said on CNBC:

“China has central planning by engineers, mathematicians, and scientists, and the US has central planning by lawyers.

Neither is good, but under those game rules, they’re going to win.”

I'm happy to buy "Made in America" as long as the product is not Union made.

I do not support in any way, any business, individual, or organization that actively works to undermine my God given rights as a United States Citizen via their strong-arm political tactics, period.

In fact, if I came across a UAW worker (or any other Union worker) that was on fire and I really needed to relieve myself after stumbling out of a bar, I wouldn't piss on the b@stard to put him out.

Sounds just like my 2003 GMC Envoy Denali. I replaced the front suspension for the third time at 64,000 miles. It's never been off-road (who'd take this thing off-road?) and gets driven typically less than 20 miles a day, with the occasional road trip to the cabin up north.

I swear to almighty God I'm never buying another piece of GM sh*t again.

Best thing to do is not buy anything and accelerate the Cloward-Piven plan to overwhelm the system.

After it's overwhelmed, we overwhelm Ubama and his flying monkeys and remake the country in our own image, not theirs.

May they rest in peace.

Products made in America by Union Workers, are not supporting America.

Workers in America who are Union Workers, are at best Socialists, and at worst Communists, at this time most Unions are at worst.

My car is a Chrysler, and I have no idea where it was made. Mostly, when I buy something, I do not look at where it was made. I look at the quality, the price, the warranty, etc.
