As a result of Tuesday's election, Americans in 15 states have filed petitions to secede from the United States, Regina Conley reported at Red Alert Politics on Saturday.

So far, she says, residents in Louisiana, Texas, Kentucky, Colorado, New Jersey and ten other states, have filed petitions at the White House petition site requesting secession. A petition for New York to secede was file by "C R" of Grand Forks, North Dakota on Saturday.

Examiner's Sheila Carroll says those other states include Montana, North Dakota, Indiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Oregon.

On November 7, the day after the election, "Michael E" from Slidell, Louisiana, filed a petition at the White House "We the People" site, requesting that Louisiana be allowed to secede...

Nothing works.

The Republican US House is acting like they do not control our house.

The Democrat US Senate has not even passed a budget in 3 years.

The Supreme Court has nullified itself by allowing the same justice to write a majority and dissenting opinion. It has become schizophrenic to say the least.

The Democrat President is quite literally allowed to do anything he pleases. And that includes his immediate staff and cabinet.

We have just finished an election where the incumbent had very little visible support while the challenger had lots of visible support. The incumbent won and there are indications of massive voter fraud.

We have no where to go from here with DC on board.

Why do you think there has been a war on drugs (and our Constitutional Rights) while the border has remained wide open? With the volume of drugs coming in from outside the country, the two missions would go hand in hand, and would both be a priority. Instead, we’ve been overrun with illegal aliens for 60+ years. They ain’t all picking lettuce.

True.... the debt is at crisis levels. But
I think that average Americans, and
Particularly the ones that don’t pay much
attention to the news, must experience
Significant pain in their lives caused by the
Debt before they will really pay attention.

“Nothing works.”

As I wrote, ‘The states and the people created the Federal Government, the “corrupt DC”’.

They could get together in convention and form a new government, a new governmental structure to replace the present one. They’d have to do something like that anyhow to “reunite” as you wrote.

But you’re correct, that wouldn’t work either. The people who should put forth such an effort don’t have sufficient cohesion and would be overwhelmed by the same types who have led us to the present situation. Secession won’t work either though. For one thing, the states are too “purple” as opposed to pure red (or blue for that matter). At least they were the last time I looked.

All secession will do is destroy the United States (I don’t mean the Federal Government which is supposed to merely be a tool of the States) more quickly and thoroughly. That looks like a long term goal of some faction.

All of which makes your support of disuniting the United States and its perpetual union inexcusable, because you ought to know better by now that doing so helps the Communists to achieve their goal while brining disreputee to the conservative community. It also helps the Obama Administration suppress the conservatives and the reputations of conservatives and divides conservatives. All of this ruin you would bring upon the heads of conservatives merely because the Romney lost only about 4000,000 votes in four states by the Democrats’ use of massive vote fraud virtually uncontested by the GOP. You are actually bringing to life the Democrats’ and Communists’ fondest fantasy, andd then you wonder why anyone would want to criticze you for suggesting such illegal conduct.

The Founding Fathers were very clear about that indee. They used Federal troops to combat the Whiskey Rebellion, Shay’s Rebellion, andd more when they attempted to misrepresent the War of Independence as justification for engaging in their own illegal and immoral usurpations of their fellow citizens’ sovereignty.Your profane insult is precisely what you have done to yourself and your fellow conservatives by engaging in such inexcusable behavior which can only help the Obama Administration and the Communists.

“In reality you are a citizen of a state. The whole US citizenship thing is an artificial construct.”

Well Duhhhh! The root definition of citizenship is membership in the polity of a city; civilization is the culture of cities; cities are the artifacts of human culture; so civilization, cities, and citizenship are inherently artificial constructs. Citizenship and civilization are the artificial constructs created by humans to improve upon the natural state of bestial forms of anarchy and death. Being opposed to citizenship is one of the hallmark goals of Communism and those who seek a one world government led by totalitarian tyrants.

See all your points, but the US is beyond repair in its present state. Have you seen the latest scandal ? The FBI was investigating the CIA ? And two top generals are being taken down in scandal. Everything in DC is corrupt. Very simple solution. The states all secede. DC goes bye bye. The states then reunite over a period of time rebuilding a clean government that has been reset. And both the Republican and Democratic Parties are made illegal. It would take them another 100 years at least to corrupt that situation. IMHO. It is so corrupt it is almost beyond left right issues.

If you think this is about Romney, you are very late to the game.

If you think this is about left right issues. You are very late to the game.

Here is just today's headline news from the US.

The FBI was investigating the CIA.

The leader of the CIA and the top general for AFPAK are being brought down in scandal.

No movement on Fast and Furious.

No movement on Voter Fraud.

The investigation into Benghazi is being thwarted by non-testimony.

We have to raise the debt ceiling by 2.6 trillion says the Vegas mobster running the US Senate.

Republican leaders want to cave on amnesty and Obamacare.

So whats you plan to save this United States ? Are you gonna start locking up these criminals ? No, my guess is you probably want to lock all of us up who are pointing these things out to your and making you feel bad.

I was very leery of giving name and address to the White House - it would have ended up a self-made enemies list.
