The 2014 and 2016 Elections Start Today: What We Can Do Differently Going Forward
HillBuzz ^ | November 7, 2012 | Kevin DuJan

Last night was an absolute shock to the system, because Americans decidedly rejected a decent and competent man with a real plan to get this country back on its feet. Instead, the Ministry of Truth succeeded in pushing voters to choose four more years of wild spending, government intrusion, chaos, and ineptitude. It’s tempting to lash out and succumb to anger this morning…and waking up today knowing that Barack Obama and the Left would be in power for another four years was cold and numb…since it just didn’t seem possible that Americans would want to subject themselves to an actual decline and collapse of our country.

I believed the Obama phenomenon was a passing fad, and that the 2010 election results meant the fad had passed. But, Democrats successfully replaced the hopeychange nonsense of 2008 with a relentlessly nasty message and pandering to the core identity blocs of the Left…and it was a strong enough coalition to triumph. That’s a shocking and scary thought, that we have truly become a nation that wants to keep the Left in power even though we’ve had four years of hard evidence what this does to our economy and place in the world.

The Ministry of Truth secured Barack Obama a second term with nonstop propaganda on his behalf — and revealed itself to be a more powerful force than I’d ever believed. Mitt Romney really was up against both Democrats and Minitru, and the majority of Americans who get their news from The Ministry bought into its story lines...

With all due respect to you, FRiend,
last night went as planned by the GOPe and the MSM/DNC.
They together selected ‘the chosen loser’ -
and assassinated the other candidates.

The GOPe does not ever like to win (too much responsibility).

The MSM/DNC want anyone who brings down freedom and the USA.

I need a couple of months of quiet solitude away from all talk of politics and elections. I am not yet going to worry about 2014 or 2016.

IF WE MAKE IT THAT FAR WITH FREE ELECTIONS...

Nothing to fight with. Lame House, Americans that live on tax handouts, business that favor King Obama with bailouts, etc. etc. etc. Obamacare will destroy private industry. Lots to look for, right.

What can we do?? Refuse to vote for ANY establishment endorsed nominee. Tommy Thompson, Connie Mack, Heather Wilson, George Allen, etc.

Fischer and Cruz won. Akin and Mourdock would have too had they not shot themselves in the foot.

What do we need to do differently? Good question!

A nation robbed by "progressives" of its constitutional understanding--that is the primary reason we are continuing on the road to tyranny under deficit, debt, and government control! The secondary reason is the GOP's failure to use its billion-dollar campaign to focus like a laser on educating voters!

During the primary season, one of my FR posts stated the following in response to a Jonah Goldberg comment about Romney:

Sorry, Jonah, but this is not as simple as "not speaking the language (of conservatism) naturally." When a person is steeped in the ideas of Jefferson, Adams, Madison, and Washington, it just "naturally" slips through in the ideas they convey. Remember Reagan?

Do Republicans seriously want to conserve America's constitutional principles? Or, are they just objecting to Democrats? Do they have a passion for liberty? Is this just about changing the Party in power, or is it about preserving freedom?

If their concern is for convincing enough voters to reject the idea of "a government big enough to give you everyting you want" and turn to advocacy for "a government small enough to allow you freedom to keep most of what you earn," then they'd better get busy seeing that someone is nominated who has been "marinated" (to use a word coined by Ingraham last night on "The Factor") in the Founders' ideas (isn't that what conservatives purport to "conserve"?).

So far (February 2012), Mitt Romney, though a good man, demonstrates no such "immersion." He has been "successful" in benefiting from those ideas, and he recites familiar words and phrases from patriotic speeches and songs, but that is different from understanding and being able to call up and articulate the philosophy which made such success possible.

Ronald Reagan's life and letters reveal that he had "immersed" himself in those ideas for years before he agreed to run for President, and that is why he could set "issues" in light of constitutional "principle." and explain his advocacy or rejection of solutions in by that light.

The other three candidates in the Primary--Paul, Santorum, Gingrich--couch their answers to questions in a manner which indicates personal pursuit and understanding of the Constitution's protections, each in his own way.

Of the two so-called "frontrunners," however, the lifetime history scholar, teacher, legislator, and participant in what was called "the Reagan revolution," appears to be the one most likely to be able to successfully articulate and distinguish those ideas to voters, if given the chance to compete with the "counterfeit ideas" of tyranny cloaked in righteous benevolence by Obama.

Is "politics as usual" to win the day, or might we not bring Gingrich, Santorum, Paul, and others who embrace founding principles together to help to create a "passion" for liberty among citizens sufficient to defeat the counterfeit ideas which are leading the Republic to ruin?

The following is excerpted from "Our Ageless Constitution," p. 181:

"It was John Adams who said: "The foundation of every government is some principle or passion in the minds of the people." Clearly, the Founders' passion was liberty, and in order to secure that liberty, they sought out and incorporated into the United States Constitution those ideas and principles embodied in the Declaration of Independence.

"The French historian, Guizot, once asked James Russell Lowell, "How long will the American republic endure?" Lowell replied: "As long as the IDEAS of the men who founded it continue dominant."

"Herein lies the answer to the question, "Will the Experiment Succeed?"

"It can and will succeed IF the motivating "principle or passion in the minds of the people" is LIBERTY, and if that passion causes them to exert the determination and will to complete the needed restoration of the IDEAS upon which the great American experiment was based." ---(End of excerpted material)

My call to the GOP and all lovers of liberty is the same as then! To rediscover and recover liberty from the hands of those who are turning America into just another failing nation dominated by a government-over-people ideology, a determined and massive education effort should begin November 7, 2012, focused on the teaching of the fundamental principles essential to the survival of individual liberty for a people.

Forget it. I’m out. No longer will vote. No contributions. The GOP is DOA. They can go F themselves. America is finished. I’m going to play golf, and spend the rest of my days having fun, drinking good wine, and loving my wife. Liberal America can kiss my ass! I’m out of here! Don’t waste another breath or another day on politics. Once you pass 50% takers, once whites are a minority, it’s over. Goodbye and good luck!

Can we please stop posting crap from this homo's blog? in 2008, he promised us the PUMAs were going to rescue us from Obama, and that Hyde Park would be empty on election night. How did that work out?

This time he promised us that the Obamas can't stand being in DC, WANT to lose the election, and have already picked out their post-Presidency residence and Library location in Hawaii with preparations being made to move in January, 2013. He said Obama picked their Election Night location for a loser.

How did that work out?

Then he spreads all kinds of rumors from his homo friends as fact because "he's in the know".

The "guy" obviously has "issues". I would no more post his crap here than somebody like, say, Alex Jones.

At this point we might do better to prepare for the dissolution of the United States of America rather than trying to figure out how to rearrange the deck chairs. The people who voted to become a nation of serfs last night are no longer my countrymen by any measure than geographic proximity. A pox on them and their children.

Conservativism will never hold sway in THIS nation again.

Maybe in a separate nation, but never in this current configuration.

The golden goose is now cooked.

The only thing good about Obama winning, is that my favorite university usually has winning seasons when a Democrat is President. My opinion, is that times are so bad, there’s not as much slush-money or ref-bribe-money to go around...this means that my school has a better chance to win.

Until or unless all political bias is eradicated from US public education, everything is a wasted effort.

I am convinced that no sane and educated adults would voluntarily and gladly habituate themselves to a role of subservience to government (ANY government)!

The people who chose “O” are not insane but rather, their education is so deficient and defective that they chose for themselves and their children, a ruinous and impossible agenda.

If the cold, hard, immutable facts about economics and the consequences of self-destructive choices are withheld from students, they will become and REMAIN the prey of unscrupulous and unprincipled, power-mad, anti-American demagogues from here on!

If the DNC didn't fish “O” out of his Chicago sewer for nomination to the Presidency... someone else with an equally malicious and self-serving agenda would have put himself into the nomination... it was just a matter of time!

Short answer....we’re going to have to confront the Race Card.

Last night America gave a social promotion to a D-minus student. It’s because he’s black, and that’s how Affirmative Action works. Not his fault that the first four years did not succeed, you know.

Until everyone starts being held to a standard regardless of race or gender this is only going to get worse.

I checked out this guy’s web site. Who is this guy? Seems like he predicted a Romney landslide because 1) Obama picked the McCormick Place for his post election rally 2) Obama is having a $40M home bought for him in Hawaii 3) He claims to know many Obama staffers looking for jobs and 4) Obama is a gay drug addict.

Huh?

Romney’s history of support of the gay agenda and government funded abortion were his downfall. America is Pro-Life, Pro Family and Pro-Christian. He did not stand behind these views 100% and repent his past. In the primaries HillBuzz and Free Republic painted Romney a lying Etch-a-Sketck. How wishy-washy does that paint the conservative media that supported Mittens in the end. Hypocrites everywhere.
