The photo op is done and O is back on the campaign trail. Meanwhile, NJ, NY, PA, CT are left to clean up the mess, on their own. These are all “blue” states and O takes it for granted that, with or without aid, they are already in his column. Do you think there is enough misery, post Sandy, that voters will shift their votes to Romney? There is nothing like the reality check of a disaster to remold a person’s voting decision. Wouldn’t that be a stunner if Romney took any one of those states :-)

They say their are gas shortages in NJ. But it surely is not the whole state. Is it just coastal regions? and areas still without power? and how extensive are the out of power regions of the state at this point?

I assume that if you live less than 20 miles from the state of Pennsylvania you have no gas line problems.

No. The majority of voters there are too stupid to realize that there are consequences associated with who wins elections. The trouble with the majority of Masshole , New York etc. voters is that they're too stupid to realize how stupid they are. There is a proven effect that dumbasses actually think that they're smarter than average. They're too stupid to associate cause and effect. They have their magic black man, and just because his sole magic trick was to turn a down economy further into the crapper, they have not lost faith. I'll bet you not one of them could answer "What has he done in the last four years that you want to see more of?" with anything like a rational answer.

You know, I live in CT, and Hurricane Irene was a bit smaller than than Sandy, but caused a ton of damaged in New England. However, I definately don’t remember obama visiting CT or Vermont to personally inspect the damage.

Media please spare me that obama stopped campaigning for the Hurricane Sandy and put politics aside. He doesn’t visit and personally inspect every area a CAT 1 hurricane strikes. Actually, I think this maybe his first catastrophe he ever responded to.
