The Good News: Valerie Jarrett made it back from Martha's Vineyard alive, thanks in large part to her security detail of highly trained professionals. The Bad News: Ambassador Stevens and three other Americans were killed by Islamic Fundamentalists in Benghazi, primarily because the Obama State Department denied their requests for security.
These are some of the most important facts to emerge from the Vice Presidential Debate, Joe Biden is like a weird relative; a relative you don't want to leave alone with children, and that he and President Obama received no requests for security from the diplomatic delegation in Libya, despite the sworn testimony of two former security professionals who requested the security.
Some of us who know the president only attended less than half of his intel-briefings wonder if someone might have mentioned the multiple attacks on the diplomatic teams in Benghazi during one of the no show briefings.
During the debate, Biden assured the country and the world, he only speaks for himself and the president, and that they received no such requests.
"We weren't told they wanted more security. We did not know they wanted more security there."
Unfortunately, the State Department has acknowledged the receipt of multiple requests for increased security. The State Department officials who have testified before the House Oversight Committee's panel have not said they relayed the requests to the president; however, Eric Nordstrom top regional security officer in Libya last summer said,
"In those conversations, I was specifically told [by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Charlene Lamb] ‘You cannot request an SST [Site Security Team] extension.' I determined I was told that because there would be too much political cost. We went ahead and requested it anyway."
"Too much political cost", but the death of an ambassador and three employees are only "bumps in the road." Do you think Charlene Lamb and the Obama Administration wanted to use the Libya War, Obama's War, as an icon or poster subject for the success of the Obama Foreign Policy and that having armed security would be offensive to Libyans, al-Qaeda, and Leftists in general.

No doubt Hilary is as deep in this as Obama, otherwise she would’ve stepped down from her position under protest the minute this thing began to warm up. Se wouldn’t keep digging. Now her political career is dead.
I think Hillary gave up her political career the day she accepted the SOS job. obama let it out that he had asked her to be SOS and she couldn’t turn it down. If she had she’d have been toast immediately. This way she gets to travel the world and go down in history as the first first lady to be SoS.
Hellary will remain Bams puppet on the strings until the election is over. I could be wrong but I doubt it.
She’ll probably run for the Senate again in NY and win by a landslide. What in the name of God is wrong with New Yorkers?

NYC is to the state what Chicago is to IL. Remove their influence and good chance both states go conservative.
Why? Bill Clinton put himself out there to speak for Obama at the DNC convention and you can damn well bet he's all over Obama right now telling not to even think about putting this all on Hillary, or he'll have some dishing of his own to do for the media.
You can also bet that Barack is getting very different orders from his own wife on a constant basis. He's gonna look and feel mighty tired when Tuesday's debate rolls around. Them all (except Bill) being from Chicago doesn't help, either.

Great observation. Directly responsible for the Benghazi fiasco is Hillary Clinton, by virtue of the mission of the US State Department, and her duty to fulfill it. If she is in anyway impeded from fulfilling her responsibility to the mission, say, by lowering reasonable security measures that do not match the real threat, because of a desire to lighten our footprint, she should RESIGN. She did not.
Republicans are aiming at Rice who is under Hillary, and at Obama who is over Hillary, thereby protecting and preserving her.
So if 0 tries to make Hillary! the fall girl, I predict the lesbian community will either sit out the election or vote for Romney this time around in protest, even if he doesn’t succeed in doing so.
Either way good for Romney I would think.

Yes, something was up for Hillary to accept SOS, and reportedly she was at first reluctant. She was likely still in shock and exhausted and demoralized from the campaign and loss, but made of cold steel ambition, Hillary rose to the bait in typical form.
This fiasco undoes her featured legacy, because she can not escape her direct responsibility, no matter how this is played. It was not Rice and it was not really Obama either. These intellegence officers belong to Hillary.

Not a chance. There’s way too much time left for Bubba to ruin Obama before 11/6 and Obama knows it. Her Thighness has a very big (230 lbs) insurance policy.
