Syncopate - probably should have been "sycophant".

Obviously should have been "sycophant". Could have been spellchecker related. In haste, I've clicked on a wrong replacement choice.

"sycophant: a person who uses flattery to win favour from individuals wielding influence; toady"

A syncopate would be something that causes musical rhythm to become irregular. I don’t think that is quite the word he was looking for though.

And what the heck is a syncopate?

Someone with hair that is accented when it's normally unaccented?

syn·co·pate    [sing-kuh-peyt, sin-]
verb (used with object), syn·co·pat·ed, syn·co·pat·ing.
1. Music . a. to place (the accents) on beats that are normally unaccented. b. to treat (a passage, piece, etc.) in this way.
2. Grammar . to contract (a word) by omitting one or more sounds from the middle, as in reducing Gloucester to Gloster.

That’s funny. Is my “gloat” showing?

By golly, we’ve earned it!

Now, just maybe, everyone will stop trying to run Romney’s campaign. Ole Mitt made us proud!

Thank you so much. That is really wonderful.

Remember when Gore demanded ballot recounts in some areas in Florida and refused to leave the V.P. residence until this was done so Bush could be declared future president?

A wonderful retired “heavy” opera singer volunteered her services. She stationed herself outside Gore’s V.P. home and sang opera for at least over an hour. (She had a wonderful, wonderful voice.)

It was a riot!!!
