MSNBC announces new poll results: Obama 87%, Romney 16%, declares election is "effectively over".

MSNBC just broke in with the results of a brand new poll.

Commissioned by Mother Jones, they polled 654 people on DailyKos and Democrat Underground..........

Melissa Harris-Perry breathlessly announced the poll results, saying that this was great news for the Obama campaign, andwould likely be very discouraging to Republicans.

The poll was conducted Saturday morning, between the hours of 2am and 5am, EST. Mother Jones said it wanted to see if the David Corn article, and the video tape it released, of Romney complaining bitterly against 47% of Americans, had affected the race.

The margin of error is +/- 23.6%

The key internals of the poll are as follows:

1. Are you employed? 14%
2. Are you living in your parents' home?53%
3. Are you currently high on something?92%
4. Do you support OWS?100%
5. Do you have student loans? 97%
6. Are you now covered under your parents' heath isurance? 68%

Melissa Harris-Perry said that MSNBC attempted to contact Karl Rove, to get his reaction to the poll, but he told them to "call Juan Williams," and hung up the phone.

They did reach Dick Morris, who said that he was astonished that Romney had managed to garner the support of 16% of this voting sample, which suggested that Roment was probably doing better than the polls suggested. He also said that MSNBC probably needs new batteries in their calculators.
