Although several human rights organizations asked that Paul Ryan cancel his appearance at the Values Voter Summit, (see FR post: "Paul Ryan asked by Human Rights Campaign to skip speaking at "hate group" "conferencehttp://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2929419/posts ), Ryan apparently used his own powers of reason; he is obviously there, and speaking in fine form:
Reported by gay advocates: The FRC (Famuly Research Council) gave a prayer "calling for homosexuality and gay marriage to be made illegal". :
"Please pray that God will give FRC and our friends courage ceaselessly to proclaim truth as it pertains to marriage and human sexuality. May God grant us favor in fashioning public policy that fosters marriage and human sexuality that reflects God’s wisdom and righteousness! (Dt 17:18; Ps 5:11; Is 10:1; Mt 19:3 ff; Eph 5:22-33; Titus 1:8 ff; Heb 13:4; Jude 7)
The final biblical reference, Jude 7, states, “Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire,” suggesting gays will go to hell."

If they don`t want to hear it, they shouldn`t tune in. To hell with them. They can go watch a gladiator movie instead. Our side isn`t going to win over the homos, anyway, so nothing`s lost.

Suggest? Seems rather explicit. Romans 1 reinforces the notion of what a reprobate is, one whom God has "given over" to this vile behavior. Yes, one can go too far with God and he will reject him.
This is a value source problem. Conservatives, including a lot of not-so-much social ones, get their values from scripture. Muslims, for instance, get what they regard as values from the Koran. Democrats disregard all that, and make up their values as they go, so they can change them when needed. That is, by the way, why you can never pin a Democrat down for being a hypocrite, or accuse them of being immoral or unethical. When caught in an obvious wrong, they will say their is no controlling moral authority. ...Anyhow, Americans who favor the Democrat plan should look at the people inventing their values, like the fairies at a gay parade, and ask if that is really the way they want culture to go for their children. Do we want to trade in our highly refined and enlightened moral code from Christ for the downwardly spiraling moral muck sodomites? Once we start pulling out the threads we don’t like, the whole cloth will come apart.
I totally agree. The scipture says, “... and he gave them over to their fleshly desires”.
However, I have led a gay person back to God, and he confessed he had received Christ at the age of 7. He repented and admitted it was his choice to live that livestyle and to end up with AIDS as a result.
However, repelled we are about the lifestyle, we need to remember, “It’s God’s desire that none should perish”. God still loves them .. just not their lifestyle.
