School choice only helps those who wish it to help. If your child is in a terrible school, and you want to remove them to a better school, it is a great thing. If you don’t care, and are not interested in how well your child is educated, it will make no difference.
Most kids don’t do better in school because they are smarter, it is because they have a family that pushed them to learn and study and get good grades.
If the only learning your child does is at the school, then it isn’t the child that failed, it is the parent.
