MARRIAGE REMAINS PROTECTED IN HAWAII

HONOLULU — A federal court Wednesday upheld Hawaii’s definition of marriage as one man and one woman. The court rejected a lawsuit that sought to tear down the state’s law defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman and Hawaii’s constitutional amendment that gives the legislature the power to maintain the timeless definition.

Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys defended the law and the amendment on behalf of Hawaii Family Forum, which the court allowed to intervene in the case in April.

“This ruling affirms that protecting and strengthening marriage as the union of one man and one woman is legitimate, reasonable, and good for society,” said Legal Counsel Dale Schowengerdt. “The people of Hawaii adopted a constitutional amendment to uphold marriage, and the court rightly concluded that the democratic process shouldn’t be short-circuited by judicial decree.”

isn;t it really pathetic that we're having to report this to others.

THE POEPLE HAVE SPOKEN, the law is the law now but these people still cannot grasp the basic fact that we do not want their fecal strap on agenda.

To base special rights on how one has sex really shows how deluded and mentally sick they are.

Two homosexuals act up and thrown ff a wheel in Portland, two women officers state the SGT bought a chicken burger in from CFA and it has created a hostile work place, a cake maker is being boycotted because he won;t make a cake with their wording on it, a wedding photographer is being sued because she won't do the wedding, CFA and other places boycotted and classed as hate groups.

You can't even make this stuff up but is Hannity an others reporting all of this on talk radio? ARE THEY HELL

How lame is it that encouraging news for America has to come from Hawaii?
Anyway, it is indeed good news. Nice to see the faggot lobby take a poke in the eye for a change.

I’ve been to Hawaii several times (and return in October for a vacation in Maui) and never got the feel it was a liberal stronghold. The natives I run into there tend to be conservative. On our last trip, we met the owners of a coffee shop in Kona and also the owners of a coffee farm. Very nice people and definitely not liberal. People look like they are hard-working there. I did see some homeless people out on Ali’i drive in Kailua-Kona. I guess if you are going to be homeless, you could do a lot worse than to be homeless in Hawaii.

If the people of Hawaii are lucky, the homosexuals will boycott the state.

LOL Maybe when the economy changes for the better. It is crazy expensive! We have friends who were stationed there until recently. A gallon of milk is around $10 at the grocery store. It’s $5 at the Navy Exchange. It’s $1.67 on sale here in Arizona.

Most of the Dole brand pineapple now comes from Puerto Rico and elsewhere. The pineapple fields in Hawaii are being replaced by cities and golf courses.
