Posted on 07/29/2012 11:40:13 AM PDT by John Semmens
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif) demanded that Pope Benedict XVI stop meddling in Americas health care debate.
Its a question of experience and perspective, Pelosi asserted. Ive had five children. I know what its like to bring a child into the world. And so has every woman whos given birth. Its pure Hell.
On the other hand, theres never been a female Pope, Pelosi pointed out. No Pope has every had to suffer the pains of child birth. So, with the Pope lacking this crucial life experience, why should we consider his views on abortion sacrosanct when it is quite clear that he doesnt have the qualifications to hold a meaningful opinion?
In Pelosis view, the decision on whether health insurance should be required to cover abortions is one that ought to be reserved to those capable of appreciating its impact. To paraphrase one of our greatest presidents, it should be a the decision of the women, by the women, and for the women.

Pretty stupid statement. How many men on the USSC when abortion become a “right”?
Darn it John.....You got me !!
Darn you, John Semmens. You’re getting TOO good. It sounds just like something Pelosi WOULD say. Thanks for the laugh.
Sadly, John, your satire is so close to the truth that it is hard to distinguish from reality at times.
This maybe semi-news/semi-satire, but I believe
those words could have come out of Pelosi mouth eactly
When is the Catholic Church going to take some action against this witch? Its failure to do so is a disgrace to the faithful and makes it look uncertain, weak, and afraid.
That’s okay. Nancy’s unqualified to have an opinion on religion.
And since I’m in before the troll: Body-fluid jokes about other Freepers’ names are much like the body fluids themselves. A little goes a long way.
I almost feel sorry for Satan, having to spend eternity with Nancy Pelosi.
See Barnhardt.biz July 23 for an explanation.
Get lost commie.
“When is the Catholic Church going to take some action against this witch? Its failure to do so is a disgrace to the faithful and makes it look uncertain, weak, and afraid.”
I have asked that question many times not just about Pelosi but just about every major Catholic politican on the left and center. Whatever action should have been taken 30 years ago.
That may very well happen since a new, conservative cardinal has just been put in place in San Francisco.
I was going to use my simple, standard reply to:
On the other hand, theres never been a female Pope,...
“...and that is because there is no Biblical justification for the ordination of women.”
Everything is so bizarre now that it gives new meaning to truth is stranger than fiction.
I am almost always alerted to this but somehow I fell for it initially. I wonder if she really did say this at some time.
Pretty funny and on point at the same time.
It should be the decision of the baby, by the baby, and for the baby because that’s what will be killed in an abortion.
Satire warning. But is it?
