I know Romney's not a hit with Freepers. Truth be told he was FAR from my first pick as well. BUT...

Hum?
An interesting point of view and possibly a really good point, if the Founding Fathers had not dedicated this new country to God and His glory, since they did, you don’t.

The question really is whether you think Romney does more long term damage to the US by gutting the GOP of conservatism and sending it further to the left, or if Zero can do more damage in the short term. I think the impending decimation of the conservative movement in one of the major parties is a bigger peril. That’s just my opinion. You are entitled to yours.

Remember Obama has been good for two things: gun sales and the re-emergence of conservative activism and the 10th Amendment. Ha ha

FUBO, FUMR. You are both gun grabbing socialist SoS.

Never expect an intelligent answer from anyone stupid enough to openly support a liberal for elected office.

Sadly, none of them have yet managed to gainsay your impeccably reasoned dictum.

You are sick person and not worthy of debate. I understand your stance now. Good day!

Translation: "I lied. I lied badly, and in a public forum. I am no more capable of 'checking your math' than I am of flying through the air, unaided."

Again: gotcha.

Show me where BOTH parties are aligned with muslims...

Well, for starters bishop Romney follows this -

The Prophet inculcates the notion, and it is believed by every true Mormon, that Smith's prophecies are superior to the laws of the land. I have heard the Prophet say that he would yet tread down his enemies, and walk over their dead bodies; and if he was not let alone, he would be a second Mohammed to this generation, and that he would make it one gore of blood from the Rocky mountains to the Atlantic ocean; that like Mohammed, whose motto in treating for peace was, 'the Alcoran or the Sword.' So should it be eventually with us, 'Joseph Smith or the Sword.' These last statements were made during the last summer. The number of armed men at Adam-ondi-Ahman was between three and four hundred" (History of the Church 3:167).

Romney: islam is not an inherently violent faith

Make sure you read the parts where he says jihad is not part of islam and that islam is one of the world's great religions>

That fake suspended campaign deal ~ most likely a mini stroke or two.

He could have stepped down and let Sarah run.

You’d think my own question posted across a dozen ABO threads...”How can a conservative vote for a liberal without abandoning his conservatism/everything he or she believes in?” would be a simple one to answer.

But they would rather spend books worth of type justifying and ultimately hiding their closeted liberalism.

Because no conservative who actually believes in principle, morality, right and wrong could EVER vote for a liberal. If the founding fathers had the ABO attitude displayed by the so-called ‘conservatives’ on FR, we’d be singing “God Save the Queen” as our national anthem.

The next SCourt pick is totally irrelevant now. Their work is complete - the Constitution is now totally irrelevant.

You got a calculator that shows 1+0 = 2?

No sir. Please feel free to elaborate on what response I should have had. Mu low, sloping forehead keeps me from thinking on my own, so I need you to tell me how I should add this up.

Whatever. I’ll be honest. I WISH I could vote for Romney. That’s how much I want Obama gone. But I can’t, and I won’t.

Recently a Freeper posted a picture of two sodomites at some San Francisco “street fair.” They had their adopted toddler with them. The child was wearing leather bondage clothing. Mitt Romney supports that. I don’t support Mitt Romney.

This thread should be pulled.

Because?

I think I should get a pony.
Because I want one, and I'm the center of the universe.

“In the end God will choose.”

God chose to give us Free Will, a wonderful and very dangerous gift.

As Joshua said over 3000 years ago, “Choose this day whom you will serve.”

Those who say, “I refuse to be bullied into voting for a candidate that is not a real conservative”, have effectively chosen to serve the other candidate.

All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Me, you, Obama and Romney. However, in reality, some are far, far better at evil than others. Edmund Burke, as always, was correct. In case some may have forgotten one of the things he said:

“All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.”

Remember, it was Rahab the Harlot who helped Joshua & Caleb.

When your grandchildren ask you, “What did you do in the great battle to save the Republic?” You can proudly tell them, “Absolutely nothing! I stayed home and clung to my pristine conservative ideals and let others re-elect the man who finished destroying America.”

Not true, skippy. I have a right to complain regardless of who I vote for. You don't make those rules.
