Tom Hoefling: Obama usurpation and dereliction merit immediate impeachment and removal
America's Party News ^ | June 17, 2012 | Tom Hoefling

"This is how great republics die"

"Where is the security for property, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious obligation desert the oaths?"

-- George Washington

The Constitution of the United States, which all officers of government, in every branch, must swear to support, is crystal clear that Congress has the exclusive constitutional grant of power to establish immigration and naturalization standards.

Article 1, Section 8:

"The Congress shall have Power...To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization..."

Also, the Constitution absolutely requires that the United States protect each of the States from Invasion.

Article 4, Section 4:

"The United States...shall protect each of them [the States] against Invasion..."

Barack Obama's actions this week in, by executive decree, granting certain classes of illegal invaders of our country a de facto amnesty are an obvious usurpation of that exclusive congressional power, AND they are a gross dereliction of one of the primary imperative duties of the Commander-in-Chief.

If a president were acting to check a lawless law passed by a lawless Congress; in other words, if he was standing firmly against a Congress or Court that had clearly breached their own constitutional limits; I would support actions by the chief executive to stop them. His oath would require that he do so.

But that is obviously not the case here.

I applaud the actions of my congressman, Steve King, in launching a court challenge to this illegitimate Obama policy. The third branch of government, the judiciary, should immediately join with the legislative branch to check the executive's lawlessness.

However, this is a perfect case to illustrate why Congress was also given the impeachment power. If they cared at all for their own oaths to support the Constitution; if they cared about the survival of the rule of law in this country, if they cared for our territorial integrity and sovereignty, they would immediately impeach this usurper and remove him from office at once.

To be frank though, experience tells me that they will not do so. Obama Democrats have no regard for the Constitution or their oaths, and Romney Repubublicans have no principles or spine.

This is how great republics die.

Nice try Jack, I'm a conservative, and you're trolling for suckers.

It's obvious.

You'd rather make a splash to troll for the angry ones on FR

Next you'll be calling us "heartless."

Frankly, your attempt to paint folks that way smacks of how the left always tries to paint conservatives, especially those who expect that the Constitution be followed.

In any case, the most angry people on FR lately are Romney supporters who get mad when someone merely points out that they're supporting Romney.

"They're not going to impeach this guy, not after the Clinton debacle, particularly this close to an election."

I remember the "Clinton debacle." This is no a Bill Clinton moment. Zer0 has usurped the constitutionally given powers given to Congress. Clinton was impeached for lying under oath. The Senate did not think that offense was enough to remove Clinton from office. Zer0 has committed a far worse offense. He has violated Article 1, Section 8:

"The Congress shall have Power...To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization..."

That Constitutional law cannot be violated. It is black and white what it means. Only Congress can determine the rules of naturalization. Zer0 is counting on the huge mass of Latinos to be totally ignorant of our Constitution. Zer0 is counting on them to raise a huge uproar when his policy is rejected for Constitutional reasons. For them, it is all relative morality in accordance to the Marxist dialectic. He is going to give them this unlawful change of policy for political advantage at the sacrifice of law and order.

Lakeshark:

The defections from Romney need not be a majority even here. You can bet that they will be quite substantial and quite possibly sufficient. If Romney loses, he won't be back. Ditto Obozo. If Romney wins or if Obozo wins, the Resistance starts immediately thereafter (at the very latest). It does not end until both of them are politically destroyed.

The "it" that you don't think "most of 'us' won't fall for" is called conservatism. No compromise. No holds barred. Not now and not ever. Anyone who votes for Romney is NOT one of anything called "us." Repenting and penance would have to intervene. Enabling the likes of Romney is NOT conservatism, but cowering surrender.

Am I angry??? You bet I am. Mass baby-killing always angers me and Myth is a past master of baby-killing and honoring rump-ranging perversion as "marriage" and persecuting the Roman Catholic Church to which I proudly belong (and each and every other pro-life church) and gun grabbing and naming social revolutionary judges and.....

In 2008, I am ashamed to say that I took your position on third party efforts and argued hard against Tom Hoefling here on the subject. We just had to vote for McCain or the boogie man would get us. Hoefling was right and I was a sap who cast his last RINO vote for McCain. May the light bulb go on over your head too. When I vote for Tom Hoefling, it will feel good and will be the first time since 1984 and 1980 that I won't feel an immediate need for a shower. Bush II wasn't so bad (certainly not as bad as his uberRINO parents) but it is long past time for political revolution and time to take out the trash in BOTH parties.

The GOP, until its inevitable death from RINOism should be used like a whore house (no more marriage to the GOP) to nominate decent candidates for Senate, House and Governorships and state legislative seats (i.e., develop a farm team for a principled replacement party to come). The GOP: use it, abuse it and dump it in the sewer of history when we are done with it. The money above everything GOP deserves to die like its Federalist and Whig predecessors and for the same reasons.

If the GOP wants my vote it will have to earn it. Dump Romney. Nominate Sarah Palin. Hard line platform. Trash Obozo as only Sarah can or will. Choose a VP and cabinet in advance including Bachmann, Cain, Santorum, Perry (but only if he dumps Dewhurst), John Bolton, and others similarly disposed and rip Obozo to shreds.

OOOOOOH, so you claim to be a conservative. QWell, that certainly changes things.

Are you "severely conservative" like your hero Myth Romney.

Are you as "conservative" as Myth in persecuting pro-life churches while demanding that they fund the slicing, dicing and hamburgerization of millions of innocent babies????

Are you as "conservative" as Myth in eagerly enforcing a policy of recognizing rump-ranging and other perversions as "marriage???" Do pet, ummm, lovers have hope that your kind of "conservatism" and Myth's will give them hope to put Fido on the Romneycare bandwagon and allow Fido automatic inheritance "rights" and hospital visits???

One could go on and on.

If anyone is "trolling for suckers," are you or any other Romney lover REALLY surprised to be targeted??? Why?

Finally, I must say that I have never before seen a GOP POTUS candidate (not even McCain or Bob Dole tax collector for the welfare state) whose every supporter here pretends not to like their candidate at all and can only justify their supposedly reluctant support for the RINO squishball (at best) by whining about his admittedly disgusting major party opponent. Consider going to Hot Springs, Arkansas, "taking the waters," for a few weeks, cleansing yourself of the accumulation of RINO excuses and abandoning Romney AND Obozo. You will thank yourself for it.

Tonight fox News had a special on the FT. Hood shooter.

Fox news heated this up today with the documentary tonight regarding the shooting. It clearly shows a cover up by the Holder run IN-JUSTICE department. How this is not an act of terrorism should be made a major election issue.

This has been classified as work place violence.

We need a change in 2012 in the white House.

Very sad when our political correctness calls TERRORISM work place violence.

You said it all, BlackElk.

There isn’t any “answer” to what you’re saying, but there’s bound to be some noise coming from those who are having difficulty coming to terms with the truth. Their candidate is doomed.

Dear FReepers,

Let me make the issues more easily understandable. AJ Eric Holder is the cornerstone of the Regime's stone wall built to protect the imperial presidency of Barack Hussein Obama (BHO). Below, I'm issuing a call for injunctive relief on behalf of the citizen's of the United States of America.

Whereas Barack Hussein Obama, has made a widespread series of Executive Orders, un-Constitutional and extra-Constitutional political maneuvers, the likes of which we have never before endured. Dangers have presented themselves in an immediate deluge of unprecedented urgency. Our normally slow and deliberative process of legislative practices have been totally undone by a deft series of ginned up emergencies designed to catch Congress unprepared for confronting extremely well crafted acts of treason.

The Regime has been taking full advantage of Congressional unwillingness to descend into the muck and mire to enforce our laws, indecision and a notoriously steep backlog of protracted committee and legislative schedules. Stalling at every turn by utilizing the stranglehold grip the Democrat Party enjoys through corrupt Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. Inaction within the US Senate cancels out any necessary reform, or progress in checking the authenticity of this reckless Regime's islamomarxist agenda toward the destruction of our Republic.

BHO maybe a complete fool, but please remember, he's not entirely responsible for designing this present anarchy. Getting our hands upon and coming to grips with 'the enemy' is about as easy as herding feral cats, or stopping the islamic revolutionaries of the Moslem Brotherhood, the BHO Regime openly admits is responsible for making US foreign and domestic policy decisions.

When in times of extreme danger, the Founding Father's placed power into the hands of the Chief Executive, who it was reasoned could then judiciously employ war powers and take emergency actions to protect and defend the nation.

That is also precisely why the loyalty of the executive leader of the Republic was seen to be of such paramount importance. Alone among all those honored to represent 'We the People', the President is subject to an even a higher standard and a greater safeguard to insure loyalty provided by two parents of natural born linage, citizenship and parenthood. It has already been determined through careful investigation that BHO can not rise to this applicable Constitutional standard by benefit of either his dubious paperwork, often acknowledged Kenyan birth, or the pattern and practice of anti-American behavior.

Carefully consider why during a period of domestic tranquility, this President needs such draconian powers? That question must by necessity be answered before we even consider the Regime's purposeful undermining of the American way of capitalism, free markets and ingenuity that have heretofore been the hallmark of the many blessings of our extraordinarily gifted nation.

Through the practice of deception, BHO has clearly usurped the recognized legal pathway to the presidency. His every action is hereby illegible, illegal, null and void. However, since the BHO Regime has also clearly acted illegally to strip Congress and the Courts of their traditional roles in this Republic, I hereby officially denounce and repudiate the Presidency of BHO on behalf of the citizen's of the United State's of America. Further, I demand BHO immediately resign the Office of President of the United States. Since your fraudulent ascension to the Office of President, you have defied the Constitution of the United States and have acted to concentrate power within the Presidency illegally, it falls to your appointed Attorney General Eric Holder to uphold the law and forcibly remove you from the official presidential residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave Washington DC. Upon completion of this act, the AJ Eric Holder is also called upon to resign his office until such a time as 'We the People' can through a national plebiscite elevate a qualified American citizen to assume the Presidency of the United States of America.

I hereby make this resolution in complete accordance to recognized laws elaborated in the Constitution of the United States of America, on this date of June 17th 2012.

Good rejoinder. This person sums it up quite well.

http://kevincraig.us/tempsec.htm

Those who would give up Essential Liberty
to purchase a little Temporary Safety,
deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

What is the opposite of “LIBERTY?” The answer is: SLAVERY.

What is the opposite of “SAFETY?” Some might answer: DANGER. But that’s not the correct answer in this context. In the context of Ben Franklin and the American Revolution, the opposite of “SAFETY” is PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY.

Samuel Adams said the opposite of SAFETY is “the animating contest of freedom.” And in certain situations, Sam Adams said the opposite of LIBERTY is WEALTH. Here is the quote from Sam Adams. “Tranquility” is what Franklin described as “temporary safety”:

In a state of tranquillity, wealth, and luxury, our descendants would forget the arts of war* and the noble activity and zeal which made their ancestors invincible. Every art of corruption would be employed to loosen the bond of union which renders our resistance formidable. When the spirit of liberty, which now animates our hearts and gives success to our arms*, is extinct, our numbers will accelerate our ruin and render us easier victims to tyranny. If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom—go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!
* Note that Adams and the Founding Fathers believed they were engaged in a defensive war against tyranny.

America’s Founding Fathers would say that Americans today are slaves. Wealthy slaves, but still slaves. Slaves that enjoy luxury and tranquility, but still slaves.

Sam Adams tossed tea into the Boston Harbor rather than be subjected to a tax of 3 pence per pound. How much tax do you pay on each gallon of gas you buy?

Why do you pay 20 times more in taxes than America’s Founding Fathers? Because you think the government guarantees you “the good life.” You have your own computer, central air conditioning, a DVD player in your SUV, and you think the government made all of this possible.

Most people think that if you have wealth, you have Liberty. There is an element of truth to this. But it is also one of the most dangerous myths of the century in which we live, as Sam Adams can help us see. We think of slaves as being poor, deprived of all wealth. Sam Adams will help us see that we now live in the century of wealthy slaves living in luxury.

From ME:
Reading of the Founding Fathers should be required starting in the 5th grade, and not the LIBERAL edited version. The Constitution started in the 6th and every year there after until graduation. Pound it into the skulls full of mush as much as you can. Ever watch the Postman with Kevin Costner? Try it, or Solient Green or Logan’s Run, might open some eyes. 1984 just took a little longer.

I may not be able to express as eloquently as BlackElk, but his/her thoughts march with what I was brought up believing America was and should be. It is not the America I live in today. I am to much the Celt to except slavery easily.

Excellent post! The Postman is a magnificent American film. Not only Costner's character but also the kid named Ford Lincoln Mercury.

Thanks also for your kind words. BTW, I am 1/4 Irish (from Cork) and 1/4 Scottish (from the Lowlands by way of Ulster). I am only 1/2 Celt but 1/4 of me gets to argue with another 1/4 of me. God bless. We Celts may well be the ones who save this country if it's OK with God.

I thinks FLM was my favorite in the movie. Then there is Water World, and the Mad Max films to consider.

IF we end up with the RINO, America will cease to exist even in the poor shape she is in. Love that song RAGGED OLD FLAG.

There are 57 DemonRATs, 41 Republicans, and 2 Independents. The Senate DemonRATs will ignore the rule of law if it is politically expedient. The State of Florida is being sued by the Justice Department for purging its voter base of non-U.S. citizens from lists of registered voters. These are tips of the same monster that the Obama Regime is pushing.
