Good point. The insistence by the family and their lawyers that Trayvon was somehow a “victim” of Stand Your Ground and that the law needs to be changed, would seem to indicate they believe the George Zimmerman was acting lawfully when he shot Martin.
If they believe that Zimmerman acted illegally, then Stand Your Ground should be totally irrelevant to the case.
