President Obama's Luxurious Schedule
American Thinker ^ | May 11, 2012 | Rick Richman

Posted on 05/11/2012 4:41:21 AM PDT by radioone

On May 7, Geoffrey Norman posted "Today's Laugh Line" at National Review Online -- a quote from a column by Mark Halperin in Time asserting Mitt Romney has "the luxury of an open schedule" allowing him to "spend every waking hour as a full-time candidate," while President Obama "is required to do his day job."

It was even funnier if one looked at President Obama's May 7 schedule. Here was his schedule that day, in its entirety, with all events taking place in the Oval Office:

10:00 a.m. The President receives the Presidential Daily Briefing.

11:00 a.m. The President meets with senior advisors.

2:30 p.m. The President holds a conference call with elected officials and student government leaders from across the country to discuss the need to prevent rates from doubling on July 1.

I bet he also yearns to hit the golf course with his gay parade in tow.

Now if Zero was a Repub, the “news” media would be all over this. Oh wait, they did criticize a President for a “lackadaisical” schedule! They made fun of Reagan’s schedule. I guess it’s OK when the Prez is a liberal Dumocrat.

As laughably lightweight as that schedule is, I still wish hussein would do even less... The less he does, the less damage he does before we can throw the {expletive} out in November.

“2:30 p.m. The President holds a conference call with elected officials and student government leaders from across the country to discuss the need to prevent rates from doubling on July 1.”

I believe this increase applies only to certain new loans for the next college year (2013) and when it does apply to the average loan of $3000+ to be repaid over a 10 year period, the increase would be $72/yr or $6/mo. This means that Obama is planning an attack on the Republican’s. Would be nice if we can attack him before on this and skew him on his schedule. This was reported in the NYT and Mark Levin reported on this in the May 10 podcast at the 56 minute mark.

Thankfully his day isn’t any fuller or he’d be doing more harm though it does prove he’s merely the puppet and his handlers are the ones destroying America. With all his fancy free time, it’s no wonder he forgets the rest of us are in a recession.

“Hey, being President is hard work, you know! “

In this case I may even be with Obama. Listening to Joe Biden drone on, while feigning interest, without bursting out with, “Geez, Biden, you really are a complete effing idiot!”, has got to be tough.

It's sort of funny about Reagan because one can see what his days were like from his diary. I started to count once but never finished. President Reagan spent most of his presidential weekdays inside the beltway. (I.e. he didn't fly off to mid-western factories to make speeches.) And virtually all of his presidential leisure time was spent at Camp David or at his own home in California.

Regan had a work ethic; the Bushes had a work ethic. Hell, even Bill Clinton had a work ethic, even if it was largely directed at interns bearing pizza and his political survival.

BHO, on the other hand, is (quite literally) a guy who’s never put in an honest day’s work in his life. Community organizing? Gee, how much did the community improve during Barry’s tenure? His “career” at the University of Chicago (as a law “lecturer,” not a professor), was undistinguished. So was his time as an attorney in the Windy City.

Glenn Beck has been doing some segments on Obama’s so-called “fairy-tale” life. That’s an apt description, since the truth is so different from the reality. As we now know, Obama’s rise in Chicago was engineered in large part by Bill Ayers’ father. The elder Ayers (and the rest of Chicago’s radical element) saw Barry as a potentially appealing candidate, someone in completely in line with their ideology, who could be easily manipulated and would do their bidding without question. As we’ve subsequently learned, Ayers senior was responsible for getting BHO is first job in Chicago, and funding his education at Harvard Law.

Of course, it doesn’t hurt that Barry is the dumbest guy in any room he walks into—and lazy to boot. The perfect Potemkin candidate (and President).

The less he does the better IMO.

What would it take to get Valerie Jarrett on the same slacker schedule?

Mitt is running for president.
Back when ozero was running, that was a full time job.

ozero seems to have LOTS of time to hit the links.
and Wedndsday night parties,
and gay fundraisers in LALA land,
and time to schmoooze with his kneepad media,

Notice his media doesn’t publish pictures of zero at a table with his cabinet or in the oval office or actually doing anything related to the job he applied for?
