Time for the 2nd revolution

George Zimmerman has a long road ahead to prove that he acted in self defense when he killed a black teenager, but people are failing to look at the big picture in this case: It involves every American in one way or another. No one in the entire country cannot relate to this case in some form, and that is why it has been such an explosive part of the news in the past few weeks.
Many will say that Trayvon was killed simply because he is black, and a large amount of people will agree with that because of the topic of hate crimes in the past few years. If someone goes out and kills someone solely because of race, nationality or sexual orientation, then it can be considered a hate crime. However, every time someone from one race kills another, people cannot and should not simply slap on the hate crime label. All that does is further separate the American people. A life was lost; it doesn't matter if that life was taken from a black, white, pink, purple or blue body. Life is life and no one should lose theirs at seventeen.
Gun supporters will use this case to show the "dangers" of the country and use this self defense argument as part of their crusade on people's rights to carry weapons. They will show that teenagers do not think correctly and older people should have the right to defend themselves from intruders, which is what many people have painted Trayvon as.
Either way, both sides are going back and forth about who is to blame in this case. The media has painted Trayvon as an innocent student who was killed by a crazy man with a gun. However, people have fought back in past weeks; pulling up negative information and pictures of Trayvon to show that no one is completely innocent and that people need to look at both sides of the story before judging.
The main point is that people shouldn't necessarily treat this as a hate crime until some concrete information comes out saying that Mr. Zimmerman did in fact kill Trayvon because of the color of his skin. Supporters of the teenager should also choose better people to represent them because Al Sharpton's input will only further divide people.

There is not a lot we know about what actually happened.
What we do know is that the President, Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton and militant groups have used the incident as a political tool. Hopefully both Democrats and Republicans of character will see this sideshow for the disgrace that it is.

Looks like George Zimmerman will be tried on some variant of “Manslaughter”.
He will likely be found Not Guilty.
The Feds will then charge him with violating little Trayvon’s civil rights.
He will be found Guilty on that one.

What it will do is make the “divisions” impossible to ignore any longer.
It will empower those on one side of the divide to say things that they haven’t been permitted to say for about five decades. We are seeing evidence of that in this forum, right now.

Divide a nation?
I think of my own circumstances. In my life, I do not recall ever being so aware of race and religion in others, or thinking about it for that matter.
Back when Colin Powel still seemed like a righteous guy, I thought I would support him for president (long long ago). Someone pointed out that he would be the first black president if that came to pass. Until that very moment, I had never considered his being “black” a factor in what I thought of his qualifications for president.
Today? I’m not so color blind or blind to what the Muslim Faith is about either. I don’t know if I’m getting older and meaner or what, but I feel less “open minded” in these past few years as I have been attacked as a “rich, white guy” that has to pay more in the interest of fairness by politicians. Rich? Not hardly by any middle class standard. I feel like I have been painted as the perpetrator of hardship on an ever increasing expanse of victims.
Yea, I am tiring of the labels and class warfare, race baiting, christian bashing....
What might a psychologist suggest is the source of my creeping antimosity?
Of course it will - because the president is doing everything he can TO divide the country racially.

I disagree, it will make the divide worse. This is clearly a case of overbearing leftists telling us we can’t defend ourselves or our families. And the result will probably be more violence by black youths.

Betcha je$$e jackson is seething that he wasn't invited to share the stage with holder and sharpton. He's no doubt saying to acquaintance's (I would say 'friends', but I doubt if he has any) that sharpton and holder should "have his balls cut off" like he said about obama. Wonder where La Raca is? In fact we could start contacting the State BAR Assoc. right now as it appears they don't have anything to arrest this man on other than completely fabricated and conspiratorial news stories.
Under these circumstances just not referring this case to a Grand Jury shows unethical prejudice on her part. The only reason for not going to a Grand Jury is she knows they don't even have cause to arrest this man, let alone prosecute him.
One hundred and fifty one years ago thousands of white people died freeing blacks from slavery, now the black people (apparently they could care less about history) want to kill white people.
What rights do we whites have that they don’t have? None. They hate whites because we for the most part abide by the laws of the land, laws they do not respect, they call them white mans laws. They want to change that and obama wants to help them do it.
They have been desperate to find an excuse to kill white people because of trumped up race charges and hatred fed on jealousy and their own failures. obamas has been building his army for over three years and he will use them to create more racial hatred. Does the United States have a problem of racial divide?
It does, but not as severe as many on the right and the left seem to want us to believe.
Most people, IMO, are prone to believe that Martin was not out looking for trouble; that Martin was not killed because he was black; that Zimmerman is not a cold-blooded killer of blacks.
The race baiters on the left and right would have us believe otherwise.
I'm ready also but this nation is still a long way from a battle. The PTB know how to destroy inch by inch & then one day it's all over. The passive sheeple have been corralled with no one to defend them. If ya'll think that it can't get worse just watch.
The New Black Panther Party has basically been given a Letter of Marque and Reprisal by this administration.

We are a nation where the rule of politics trumps the rule of law.
The politically well-connected are never charged. Why hasn't Jon Corzine been charged under Sarbanes-Oxley laws?
