What do you think the odds are that ‘we’ collectively speaking could get about 50-100,000 people willing to sign a petition to the State of Texas asking on behalf of the residents of the other 49 states, that they take action to have her mentally evaluated, since her considering the questionable mentality of her public utterances, her congressional decisions are also questionable and could thus negatively impact us?
Who cares if it would result in anything by the state? It would bring unwanted pressure and good old Alynsky style ridicule on her and the dems.
Common sense would dictate that it would actually be easier to have a public official psychologically evaluated precisely due to their responsibilities and consequences of their actions, but we all know that common sense doesn’t rule the day, and politicians are a protected species. Far more evolved than you or me.

Zimmerman’s wounds were cleaned up by EMT before he was transported to the police station. Most PD’s around the country do not transport suspects with unattended wounds for liability purposes should they take a turn for the worse. They also probably don’t want their cars bloodied up.

No, but I’m pretty sure that they cannot continue to serve if found medically (mentally) unfit to do so. And I know no politician would have the Texas sized huevos needed to actually go through with any of this.
