KPUA cancels Rush Limbaugh radio show in Hilo

There is a huge conspiracy right now to drive Rush Limbaugh, and ALL commentary that supports the conservative point of view, from the air. They seize upon his words, looking for double meanings and hidden meanings behind those words, and say, “See! See! Bigotry, and hatred, and incivility!”

As if Rush invented the bigotry, the hatred, the incivility. All those were there all the time, but through the magic of projection, the faults of others are reflected and magnified upon those whom would be driven out.

But surprise, the world still turns, Rush still speaks, and a certain bewilderment befalls those who accuse him of improprieties. Why does Rush not simply crumple to the ground? Does he not understand the gravity of the charges made against him?

Sandra Fluke is an attention hog, greedily absorbing the spotlight, and acting the wounded innocent. But by her example, how many other young (and not so young) are encouraged to step up, point fingers, and say, “This is the devil who made me do it!”, referring to some authority figure, in a rash attempt to use some semblance of shame to force a confession of guilt from that authority figure? She who is without shame herself is in no position to force guilt upon another, and should be revealed as such.

Rush used language that was much too mild in describing Sandra Fluke. And for that, he need never to have apologized.

Here’s their schedule for today and the rest of the week minus Limbaugh. They just threw away their best program and probably their only moneymaker. Fools.

There are 2 other AM and around 9 FM stations in Hilo.
I’m sure he’ll get picked up someplace else.

Hmmm...”pineapple” would be a racial slur, except racism is now enshrined in the Hawaii state constitution. IIRC, one doesn’t have full citizenship rights or something without provable Hawaiian ancestry.

Heard many reports about open hostility towards “haoles” and “malahinis”. Tourist guides giving angry lectures demanding “respect”. Beachgoers being confronted by locals declaring “this is our beach, not yours”.

With their yellowfanged radical governor and no U.S. flag at the state capitol, Hawaii needs to be handed over to the Japanese with apologies.

Wow that is an exciting lineup I bet they have trilllions listening. You know I bet these stations and advertisers think they will get attention so in a backwards way they are trying to get more listeners and or consumers what they don’t realize is most likey the people who are calling or signing petitions are living in the OWS tents.
