Mitt or Rick ? YES like it it not this is OUR CHOICE!

Posted on 02/29/2012 4:05:27 AM PST by Dan.israel.2011

Okay my FRiends, this is it... We have to choose now! Are we going to support Mittens or Rick Santorum.

A vote FOR Newt at this point is a vote for four more years of Obama's MITTens?

Please please please take off your MITTens and put ON your sweater vest!

Please describe policies on the economy, foreign affairs, military preparedness, reducing the deficit, abolishing government agencies, SCOTUS and the courts, education, States’ Rights, agriculture, import/exports, US energy production, job creation, welfare reform, repealing Obamacare and any other non-social conservatism that Santurum has proposed.

Well, at least you are not a MittBot.

I like Santorum, but the Dems will kill him with social issues. They’ve already teed it up with the contraceptive false-flag.

I’m in Georgia; Newt wants to make a statement to the GOP-e. I’m going Newt to help him make that statement. I do know Newt is unlikely to cinch the nomination.

“Count the votes your analysis is flawed... Verrrry flawed.”

From the CNN Exit poll in Michigan.

Where is my analysis flawed.

"Wake up? HAH! Newt Gingrich is the one with proven leadership."

"Leadership" so "proven" that virtually no one that he "led" in Congress will endorse him for President. Why is that? Maybe you should find out.

"Rick Santorum is a follower not a leader."

Of the candidates left in this race (it is a weak group, but it is what it is) Santorum has by far the most consistent story. THAT is real leadership, showing an ability to stick to his convictions.

Santorum isn't perfect, but the Tea Party and Congress can keep him on the straight and narrow.

"Sorry, it is you who needs to wake up, bub."

Nope, you need to wake up to the simple fact that Gingrich has no chance in the general. He'd get slaughtered. Gingrich should do the responsible thing and drop out now. Sadly, I'm pretty sure his ego will prevent that.

Santorum is the only electable conservative in the race, and it's time for every responsible conservative to support him.

Right now, GA is the only state on Super Tuesday picking Newt.

Santorum picked up nearly as many electorals as Mitt in MI last night.

'Nuff said.

"I’d rather have 4 years of Obama with GOP opposition over 8 years of Mitt having no one to oppose him."

If so you are a FOOL for one simple reason: 0 would almost certainly nominate at least two more Supreme Court justices.

And that, buddy, would almost certainly be the end of America as we all know and love it.

Regardless what you think about Romney (and I'm no fan myself) I expect he would nominate far better judges than would 0.

Regardless, if we unite and support Santorum, we can have a far better outcome still. Newt is toast.

I think that adds up to Romney successfully won the ABO vote. It's not that Romney wins anything, other candidates lose the “who can beat Obama” vote. The pile on by the MSM and the Republican establishment scared the sheep back into the pen. Romney will most likely keep it going into super Tuesday. Watch for erosion of Santorum in Ohio. If that happens, Romney is back on game. Newt is an outlier at this point and will end up with the Huckabee share this round. Newt and his supporters keep thinking they are going to have endless bites at the apple, but I don't think that will happen. It's a momentum game, and Santorum was the last serious challenge to Romney.

One thing we can count on is Ron Paul will be attacking Rick and supporting Mitt this week.

Dan, it is NOT TIME! This is a Delegates Game and your guy is not doing well enough in that game yet to call for Newt to drop out.
Washington votes on Saturday. It is proportional with 43 delegates.
Look at the Super Tuesday Calendar.
Alaska 27
Georgia 76
Idaho 32
Massachusetts 41
North Dakota 28
Ohio 66
Oklahoma 43
Tennessee 58
Vermont 17
Virginia 49

These ALL proportional delegates. Now, tell me, which of these do you think Mitt is going to win? Massachusetts, of course. Ohio, maybe. Vermont, yes. Virginia, not if all of the Rick and Newt supporters vote for Ron Paul! And again, these are ALL PROPORTIONAL!

Here is my point, MITT CANNOT LOCK THIS THING UP FOR A LONG TIME! GET YOUR GUY OUT THERE AND HELP HIM ACTUALLY WIN DELEGATES AND THEN YOU CAN TELL US THAT WE NEED TO STOP SUPPORTING NEWT!

"Santorum is a good man - but does not have any executive experience running a gas station - much less a nation of 300 million sheeple wearing sweater vests."

Er, neither does Gingrich.

The sad fact is that Gingrich's erratic, egotistical and unappealing nature is not going to fly with the general electorate. The 0 machine has a ton of very effective ammo to use against him as well.

Newt needs to drop out sooner rather than later.

Rubbish! If Newt wins Georgia, which he should, his delegates will be equal or exceed both Romney and Santorum. No way is Newt out of the picture.

Speaker of the House is executive experience - in the function and limits of the Federal Government.

To date, more people have voted for Newt than Santorum, in spite of Romney’s negative ad $millions and the MSM biased destructive attacks on Newt.

Newt has survived all of it. Santorum has not yet felt the wrath of the media and Mitt’s $millions.

"2. Indies and mods don`t like Santorum and refuse to support him."

This isn't true, recent polls show him doing better than any other Republican (beating or tying 0 in two polls) in Ohio, a key swing state. And that is without very much name recognition yet.

At this point Santorum seems the only hope. IMO, Romney won't beat 0, he will be painted as an "out of touch Country Club one percenter" who "isn't concerned about poor people". Plus he has the likability factor of a lizard.
