Seek help sooner rather than later.

Palin had the ability to reform the oil state revenue because of the Alaska constitution deems oil a 'state resource'. See her reform under ACES. At the Federal level there is no such thing. It would have to be a straight "tax".

Nothing there to spin.

Her job that she was elected to do was done. She saved the state from considerable needless expense by stepping aside, left a good conservative governor in charge, and didn’t hold her own ego above the good of the state like you would have done.

You said:
Palin has the potential to “undo” 100 yrs of Progressivism and Statism and they know if she does, their politcal gig is up for their life times..

Not according to GOD’s word in the Holy Bible..This is not how it’s going to end...We are in for rougher times, and if you believe in the prophetic times, you need to be prepared for what is coming....

GOD is controlling this now, and he needs no help from anyone....

Just my spiritual 2 cents...

I can't answer that, but I will say that you asked a very important question.

Palin has to give an explanation that satisfies those nervous independents in the middle, the swing voters who ultimately decide elections. It won't be an easy sell.

I don’t think the GOP would have a problem uniting behind Rick Perry, and probably a number of dark horses as well.

If they can have Palin, why would they settle for so much less?

Palin is coming September 3rd, and the Tea Party is coming with her.

ineluctable

Sarah takes on Big Oil illuminates Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's rise to power, along with her successes and failures in dealing with the industry that is the lifeblood of the state's economy.

This book is a must read for those seeking to understand Palin's qualifications for national leadership.

It's pretty clear. The going got tough. Rick Perry won elections against liberals, rinos and libertarians and didn't just win but beat them by double digits. Even with the Bush's and Rove against him, he didn't quit, he got tough and stomped a mud hole in them, as we say down here.

You should open up to the Holy Spirit more when reading your Bible.

God controls the affairs of men by chosing who he will put in power. You have no idea when the end is, and need to look at the propriety of the times. Christians should always be chosing a Christian in the voting booth, not looking for who will fulfil what you think is prophecy; that is what the kabbalists do.

You know that, I know that, and I'll bet that evad knows that as well.

But evad wasn't talking about conservatives, those who really know what Palin is all about. He was referring to those folks in the middle who believe at least some of what the MSM feeds them.

So it's a fair question.

No thanks. Sarah doesn't take on big oil. Big oil needs Alaska. Palin knew it and saw an angle to send out checks. Then she wrapped it in an excuse that "Alaska's Constitution requires that Alaska's resources belong to Alaskans".

Kinda funny that the logging industry didn't see a tax and neither did Todd's business of commercial fishing.

Ronald Reagan was loved by Hollywood in his day....Frank Sinatra supported his Campaign for President...He had quite a bit of support across the board.....

He associated with people like Bob Hope, Frank Sinatra, Jack Benny..

We don’t live in Ronald Reagan’s World.. Our world is full of Vitriol in the Media, in Hollywood, the Left and Liberal Baby Boomers who were still partying having fun, when Ronald Reagan was in Politics....

Most voters won’t give a damn whether she stepped down or not, and any fool that brings it up just opens up another chance for Palin to make them look petty and childish.

It won't be an easy sell.

I don't have the answer either and I can hear Chris Wallace and his "gotcha" question now:
"Mrs. Palin, you are president of the United States and the 3AM call comes. Do you quit right away or wait for the 6AM news?"

Look FRiend. Palin is not tough. She took on an oil industry that needed Alaska and shook it down. She took on Republicans that ran Alaska then quit when things got tough. Now those same Republicans that were supposedly dirty (I don't know) are back in charge.Rick Perry however has stomped all comers and Texas can now form a quorum without even one Democrat showing up. That wasn't the case when Perry took office.

That is what happens when a governor of a state of 25 million decides to dig in and fight. Palin ran a state of 700,000.

Which is kind of a red herring since illegal immigrants don’t serve in the military unless they’ve enlisted fraudulently. Perry is going to have to firm up his position on immigration with a lot more specificity, you’re correct as far as that goes. If he develops a tin ear on this, he’ll have problems.
