You're right!
She has the RECORD of taking down crooks in both parties!
Once Americans are told the facts about her record, they should flock to her in droves!
That is sad, but true. And unity would be fleeting even then.
I remember that brief moment of unity after 9/11. I bought into it, just to be disappointed.
Bush thought Washington politics would be like Texas politics. He thought he could “reach across the aisle” and get things accomplished. He as much as said so during an interview a couple of years ago. (no, I don’t agree with everthing President Bush did, but he wasn’t all bad. I can’t imagine Obama leading us thru 9/11. Or Kerry or Gore.)
I can’t imagine why anybody would want to wade thru the cesspool of D.C. politics. Unless they are from Chicago where that is the norm (no offense to Ill. Freepers).
A Palin/Perry ticket would be unstoppable. I think it's a real possibility.
“Uniting” the country means getting 60% to agree on a common direction. That’s all it takes to move things significantly one way or the other.
Stealing Obabma's chops from last election??
Oh - I guess he means a different different type - or something. Tripe.
Remember, when Palin was governor Alaska had no income tax or sales tax and she still balanced the budget.
She's half woman half amazing! I can't wait to see her welfare state/ windfall profit tax on oil companies translates to DC. But she can do it because she is all things pure.
Loved her daughters foot tattoo also. Can't wait for the latest reality show from the Palin's. They're like the Osmonds only better.
To God’s ears....
To God’s ears....
Amen!
But hey Alaska is 1/4 the size population wise of Houston metro so why shouldn't she be capable of running the USA.
I'd settle for some $2.00 gas. Or pie.
Leaders are expected to give good speeches, but leadership is so much more than oratory. Real leadership requires deeds even more than words. It means taking on the problems no one else wants to tackle. It means providing vision and guidance, inspiring people to action, bringing everyone to the table, and with a servant's heart dedicating oneself to striking agreements that keep faith with our Constitution and with the ordinary citizens who entrusted you with power. It means bucking the status quo, fighting the corrupt powers that be, serving the common good, and leaving the country better than you found it. Most of us dont see a lot of that real leadership in D.C., and its profoundly disappointing.Source: The Sugar Daddy Has Run Out of Sugar; Now We Need New Leaders by Sarah Palin, July 9, 2011, Facebook
Absolutely correct. The headline is silly nonsense. Palin might be able to transform the country, but there will always be that 20% who will fight her tooth and nail.
Sam, I’m going to go out on a limb and tell you that if Sarah get’s the nomination, she will seriously consider RUBIO for the VP slot. There is absolutely no person so articulate in laying out a winning conservative agenda like Marco Rubio. She will own FL for starters. She will own Texas with or without Perry (although I see him on the list).
Sarah Palin is probably the shrewdest political person since Clinton (time will demonstrate that). For a VP slot you have to consider these main points:
1- electoral geography
2- political philosophy
3- voter appeal
4- experience
5- gender
McCain went with #2,3,5 - and came up pretty good I would say.
That’s a pretty accurate ‘picture’:>)
Palin, Bachmann, Cain and maybe Santorum could unite the conservative base and some in the tea party. You must understand the goofy Ron Paul faction thinks they own the tea parties. but, I don’t think either one will be liked by the Rino Elites. They want Romney, Huntsman and some want Perry. Infact, I don’t get why Rove would be opposed to Perry. Maybe Rove still think Romney is a winning ticket. Either way, I think only Paul Ryan could unite the Party as all factions like him or have defended him over the past 2 years. That doesn’t mean Paul Ryan is the best candidate, but the only one that I think could do it. Chris Christie will lack the social conservatives. Of course, Ron Paul fans don’t count. They will always be kooky.
