I do think I understand the strategy she is using, as it has been posted elsewhere on the Internet and it does make sense to not get in quite so soon.

Steady, Hold, Hold, Hold, Hold, NOW!

LMAO The Braveheart Strategy !!!

I go with the rumor that has been around for months: if Perry decides to run, Palin will decide not to. Here are my picks, in order:

Palin
Perry
Bachmann
Cain
Gingrich
Santorum
Paul
My dead dog Daisy
Romney
Huntsman
Johnson
McCotter

Anyone from Daisy and above would beat Obama in 2012.

“President Palin... get used to the idea... you will like it.”

I LOVE the idea! Don’t worship it, but I LOVE it!

Trust me or keep reading up on Sarah.

I've read plenty about Gov. Palin and plenty written by her as well.

I'll trust my own judgment, thanks.

I have not wagered a guess as to whether she'll run or not and if she does and gets the nomination, she'll have my vote.

My post was about so many of her supporters taking an obsessive, almost worshipful stance.

Kind of like the Paulbots do.

That turns people off and it isn't doing Gov. palin any favors.

Thanks to Leapfrog for da ping! Have at it!

FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)

"Do not care as we have our nominee, Governor Rick Perry."

Do not discount the influence of outside forces: http://www.primariesforpalin.com/

"This is an independent site, not affiliated with any political organizations, run by a few left-leaning independents and moderates with the intent of nominating Sarah Palin as the GOP’s presidential representative, which would ensure Obama’s reelection in 2012.

How? By informing and encouraging Democrats and moderates in open primary states (and in some cases, closed primary states, by changing party affiliation) to vote for her. As Obama will face no serious challenges to being the Democratic nominee in 2012, it is better to influence who will be his opponent.

I also predict no, and I agree with the WSJ poster who said that......

“Palin would be splitting the vote because Bachman and Palin both appeal to the same social conservative demographic”.

Except that Palin has already made in clear in an interview that she does not believe the right people are in the race.

I would not have said this a couple months ago, but I am not so sure I would want her jumping in in September. Tell me where I’m wrong (in a nice way because I originally would have been just fine with a Palin / Perry ticket or Palin / someone else ticket if Perry didn’t run, or something like that), but I just don’t see where it is helpful to wait until the companies and businesses and larger donors, and yea, even us little people, all get set up, at peace with, and settled in with a candidate and then to think she will just yank them away from those they have already committed to, whoever that may be. Again, please feel free to let me know if that is the way it goes. From my un-trained political eye, it just doesn’t seem like it would work for her so late in the money... and even “heart-giving” game.

If she acts quickly though, and I mean real quickly, she might find an opening still.

For all the teasing and toying I feel like Sarah Palin has been doing with us all, and especially if we CONTINUE to be teased and toyed with, and for the fact that I do really like Rick Perry, I think I’ll just stick with Rick Perry now.

And Carter's people were salivating for the very same reasons for Reagan to run as well.

Do you have any evidence of them actually setting up an organized effort to win Reagan the nomination?

Just one more area where I agree with Palin on. Although I do like Cain.

More than one interview, with both Sean Hannity and Greta. I think she last told Sean at the Iowa Fair? that she doesn’t think the candidate field is set and she’s sure right about that: for one, she hasn’t announced, but I think she mentioned......... September.......

As a Palin supporter, just want to make clear that I do not in any way WORSHIP her. I admire, respect her leadership skills, and recognize that our country NEEDS her.

So funny...if you really like someone you immediately become an idol worshiper...I really like my airplane too but hardly worship it...:oP

You hit the nail on the head. As much as I support her I’m afraid her window has closed and jumping in at the last possible minute would not help her win and may even cause here to lose some support.

I do know one thing...............

There is going to be a LOT of sadness here when the news comes down...........Including me.........

But hey................I’ve been wrong before ;)

"Do you think Sarah Palin will run for President?

I don't care any more. I just plumb lost interest watching and hearing "The Perils of Paline" over and over again for months.

I like Perry for President and Ryan for Veep.....north and south heartland guys, well-balanced in age, economic experience, pleasing looks, constitutionalists, not loaded with baggage, excellent speakers, etc.
