Maybe Fed Ex can stop running ENDLESS “dumb white guy” commercials. Always a dumb white guy and intelligent non-white. UPS sucks.

Yet another reason not to use UPS...I use FedEx because UPS sucks and they don't honor their insurance policies, even when items are shipped under a USAF contract. They ripped us off on a $10,000 piece of equipment the driver dropped off of the back of the truck and broke by claiming it "wasn't packaged properly". It was professionally crated with injected foam padding and cross-braces. We turned the claim over to our corporate office over a year ago and they still haven't settled.

Also, I just received items today that should have been delivered via UPS...even had a tracking number...but UPS turned the packages over to the local post office to deliver when they arrived in town instead of delivering it themselves. How they get by with that, I don't have a clue.

We *were* shipping heavy, expensive trike rears by UPS until one day, the guy who was supposed to load it on the pallet decided he didn’t feel like doing his job.

Hubby did it by himself and totally wrecked his back.

He still suffers from it and UPS didn’t even shake a finger at the lazy slob who couldn’t be bothered to help.

That’s been 10 years ago and FedEX is very happy to have our business and goes way over the top in service.

We now just flip open the hatch of the truck and -they- unload everything for us.

Our local UPS delivery man, however, is the nicest, most efficient and helpful guy you could ever hope to have.
