Sensible Liberals: The 34 Democrats Who Voted NO
Vocal Minority ^ | 3/22/10 | EricTheRed

The health (s)care bill last night was actually bi-partisan—bi-partisan opposition, that is. These are the 34 Dems who voted no yesterday. And if any of them are in your district, call and thank them. They deserve it:

Rep. John Adler (N.J.), Rep. Jason Altmire (Pa.), Rep. Michael Arcuri (N.Y.), Rep. John Barrow (Ga.), Rep. Marion Berry (Ark.), Rep. Dan Boren (Okla.), Rep. Rick Boucher (Va.), Rep. Bobby Bright (Ala.), Rep. Ben Chandler (Ky.), Rep. Travis Childers (Miss.), Rep. Artur Davis (Ala.), Rep. Lincoln Davis (Tenn.), Rep. Chet Edwards (Texas), Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin (S.D.), Rep. Tim Holden (Pa.), Rep. Larry Kissell (N.C.), Rep. Frank Kratovil (Md.), Rep. Dan Lipinski (Ill.), Rep. Stephen Lynch (Mass.), Rep. Jim Marshall (Ga.), Rep. Jim Matheson (Utah), Rep. Mike McIntyre (N.C.), Rep. Mike McMahon (N.Y.), Rep. Charlie Melancon (La.), Rep. Walt Minnick (Idaho), Rep. Glenn Nye (Va.), Rep. Collin Peterson (Minn.), Rep. Mike Ross (Ark.), Rep. Heath Shuler (N.C.), Rep. Ike

The only reason most, if not all, voted against it is because Nazi Pelosi gave them cover.
Does anyone really know which ones would have flipped if they were needed ?? — I say any one of them would have.

Not one of them stood up during this whole process to stop this or change it — not one (except the one that changed to Republican)

This is a complete lack of understanding as to how the system works. If the bit#h from California had needed them they would have voted yes.

The great Chet Edwards of Texas has a 16% ACU rating for this Congress and a 30% lifetime. The only thing I will thank him for is if he quits and goes home.

These would probably be the easiest to defeat. Send Sarah Palin into their district this summer and fall and see where they are in November!

Sorry, they get no thanks from me. Madame P. let ‘em vote no because she didn’t need their votes. I’m going to donate what I can to their opponents if they’re up for reelection in 2012.

Where there is a “D” there is a socialist. Flush ‘em.

Rep. Jason Altmire (Pa.)

I'll just use him as one example of how phony these Rats are. He votes against his party regarding ANWR too--a meaningless vote for a Democrat as the party will always block it. On the other side, he voted for the Stimulus bill, voted twice to make Washington D.C. into a congressional district with two seats in the House, voted for the "Paycheck Fairness Act", voted for an expansion of "Hate Crimes", voted for cash for clunkers, voted for letting gays sue if they believe they are "discriminated" against, voted for all the usual garbage. But he casts a few meaningless votes now and then to fool the dunces out there into believing that he is a conservative Democrat.

Arthur Davis is a black congressman from west Alabama, district #7, and he is my congressman. Regardless of what reasons that he voted against Obamacare, I am glad that he did. I must give credit where credit is due. I can assure you that the majority of white voters in Alabama are totally against Obamacare.

Great point...there are NO good democrats...they vote as they were TOLD to vote...this was done to give certain ones some cover. They must ALL go...local, state, federal.

Speaking of Herr Stupak, here’s a link to the FB page of his opponent, Benishek: http://tinyurl.com/yfuxr2x

He’ll have a website up soon, he only announced his candidacy about a week or so ago.

I’m sure it’s been posted here over and over, just posting for them that hasn’t seen it yet and would be so inclined.

they only voted no to try and save their jobs

Exactly. They got a special dispensation from the king and queen because they didn't want to hire these folks for administration jobs, and they knew their districts had enough independents that they'd lose their seats.
