Sensible Liberals: The 34 Democrats Who Voted NO
Vocal Minority ^ | 3/22/10 | EricTheRed

Posted on 03/22/2010 11:18:55 AM PDT by EricTheRed_VocalMinority

The health (s)care bill last night was actually bi-partisan—bi-partisan opposition, that is. These are the 34 Dems who voted no yesterday. And if any of them are in your district, call and thank them. They deserve it:

Rep. John Adler (N.J.), Rep. Jason Altmire (Pa.), Rep. Michael Arcuri (N.Y.), Rep. John Barrow (Ga.), Rep. Marion Berry (Ark.), Rep. Dan Boren (Okla.), Rep. Rick Boucher (Va.), Rep. Bobby Bright (Ala.), Rep. Ben Chandler (Ky.), Rep. Travis Childers (Miss.), Rep. Artur Davis (Ala.), Rep. Lincoln Davis (Tenn.), Rep. Chet Edwards (Texas), Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin (S.D.), Rep. Tim Holden (Pa.), Rep. Larry Kissell (N.C.), Rep. Frank Kratovil (Md.), Rep. Dan Lipinski (Ill.), Rep. Stephen Lynch (Mass.), Rep. Jim Marshall (Ga.), Rep. Jim Matheson (Utah), Rep. Mike McIntyre (N.C.), Rep. Mike McMahon (N.Y.), Rep. Charlie Melancon (La.), Rep. Walt Minnick (Idaho), Rep. Glenn Nye (Va.), Rep. Collin Peterson (Minn.), Rep. Mike Ross (Ark.), Rep. Heath Shuler (N.C.), Rep. Ike

On immigration reform these lying dogs will trade places with the lying dogs that voted for obamacare and then those lying dogs will trade place when it comes to cap and tax.
There are no GOOD democrats, not even the DEAD ones who still find a way to vote!
A democrat is a mentally ill person!

Don’t give those Dem ‘no’ voters too much credit. SanFranNan let some save themselves because she already had the votes. All this jockeying for position for days is what took them so long to get to last night’s fiasco vote.

I don’t trust any of them and won’t until I look into their backgrounds including voting records. NONE of them should be trusted at the outset.

Exactly. They were given PERMISSION to vote no. I hold EVERY SINGLE democrat responsible for this. And I hold EVERY SINGLE republican that does not actively work to repeal it responsible too.

“No democrat is sensible, The wicked witch just allowed them to not vote for the bill.”

Exactly right. They held out to see who needed to vote NO so they could give them cover in November. Vote every last one OUT OUT OUT.

Dittos here. Show me a Democrat who voted against Pelosi for Speaker of the House and against every liberty stealing scheme to come through Congress during their tenure, and then I might give them some applause.

The only reason most, if not all, voted against it is because Nazi Pelosi gave them cover.
Does anyone really know which ones would have flipped if they were needed ?? — I say any one of them would have.

Not one of them stood up during this whole process to stop this or change it — not one (except the one that changed to Republican)

This is a complete lack of understanding as to how the system works. If the bit#h from California had needed them they would have voted yes.

The great Chet Edwards of Texas has a 16% ACU rating for this Congress and a 30% lifetime. The only thing I will thank him for is if he quits and goes home.

These would probably be the easiest to defeat. Send Sarah Palin into their district this summer and fall and see where they are in November!

Sorry, they get no thanks from me. Madame P. let ‘em vote no because she didn’t need their votes. I’m going to donate what I can to their opponents if they’re up for reelection in 2012.

Rep. Jason Altmire (Pa.)

I'll just use him as one example of how phony these Rats are. He votes against his party regarding ANWR too--a meaningless vote for a Democrat as the party will always block it. On the other side, he voted for the Stimulus bill, voted twice to make Washington D.C. into a congressional district with two seats in the House, voted for the "Paycheck Fairness Act", voted for an expansion of "Hate Crimes", voted for cash for clunkers, voted for letting gays sue if they believe they are "discriminated" against, voted for all the usual garbage. But he casts a few meaningless votes now and then to fool the dunces out there into believing that he is a conservative Democrat.

Arthur Davis is a black congressman from west Alabama, district #7, and he is my congressman. Regardless of what reasons that he voted against Obamacare, I am glad that he did. I must give credit where credit is due. I can assure you that the majority of white voters in Alabama are totally against Obamacare.

Speaking of Herr Stupak, here’s a link to the FB page of his opponent, Benishek: http://tinyurl.com/yfuxr2x

He’ll have a website up soon, he only announced his candidacy about a week or so ago.

I’m sure it’s been posted here over and over, just posting for them that hasn’t seen it yet and would be so inclined.

Exactly. They got a special dispensation from the king and queen because they didn't want to hire these folks for administration jobs, and they knew their districts had enough independents that they'd lose their seats.

This is great! 32 comments and every one (unless I missed it) correctly states that these "nays" were strictly for camouflage!

It is true that many are starting to see through the deal, dare we call it conspiracy.

It is still depressing how many do not. When one is an organization man, a yes-man, one is indeed covered by the organization (incl. financing), until one's number is called. This has only been an MO among the corrupt since humanity organized.

Although many on this website refuse to see it, similarly maintaining that the "Republican Party" is the only way to stop the Left is exactly wrong. The Republican Party is also an organization man, i.e. a yes-man. And when and if they acquire power there is again only some myopic orchestrated agenda from the top, with reaction and conflict all over again.

This is the logical fallacy of Game Theory, you against me; the most sophisticated versions being The Prisoner's Dilemma, or from the Cold War, Mutually Assured Destruction. This logic is fallible.

When an evil like Leftism (centralized dependence and control of individual humanity) is rampant but widely recognized and loathed, then it is critical to invoke creative, multiple, spearheads, in today's political circumstances third or fourth or fifth parties.

Imagine a national debate with five participants, four of whom ruthlessly expose the corruption and human violation of the LEFT. Expose it from all sides, its deal making, its arrogance, its avarice, its incivility, its juvenilism.

Does any one expect The Republican Party, on its own, to do this?

Yet over and over here we see the frustrated "Republican" organization man trying to re-straighten the Party. This frustration is what The Tea Party is about, and we give them all encouragement to go wide and put the elitist conspiracy of "parties" in general in perspective.

Yeah, right.

At least for one of them, Ike Skelton of MO...it was surely a CYA move.
Trying to sound like he feared for our military vets.

What a hypocrite.
