February 24, suddenly Chinese official media CCTV for the first time published shock screens of shooting down U-2 high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft in June 1958, to warn B-2 of the United Stites.
In these short-range high-definition screens, the moment of Sam missile into the sky shot down U-2 high-definition instant pictures are very stunning!

Things are pretty good here, all told. Except that I’m here much less now; my travel has gone way up.
How'd you arraneg that, 'Face? I just got home and waiting on a plate were... some fresh chocolate chip cookies!
Why the expression of surprise? You do have a fax machine, don’t you?
Even better than that! It can make crop circles in it!
Magic, sion...magic. You have a good wife who is attuned to what ‘Face wants for you, and the possibilities are endless. ;o]
You’re my hero, Bob; among other things.
And for now, I’m off to the side and down. Catch you on the flip-flop.
That could explain a few things. *\;^O
G’night!
I *finally* got through your Crush the Castle trebuchet game!! And it only took 20 to 30 minutes.
Of course, it took hours and hours with a low-speed connection and a defective Flash plugin to figure out most of the castle -- once I had a faster (2+ times) machine with newer software and faster connexion, it all went quickly.
Thanks!
Welcome!
My machine is pushing its limits, so I cannot finish that game.
*sigh*
Not until I complete the new build, but that has been pushed off to “some future date”.
Good morning. Back from library. Snow is melting.
Oh, wait.
Hmph.
Back in Seattle. Its disgusting. I like San Diego better. Fortunately, I will be leaving again pretty soon.
Nothings going on. Pretty boring. Were on stand-down for most of the month. I have to get blood drawn tomorrow and cant eat anything after 1800.
........I didn’t realize it was March already. I roll Confusion and distract everyone with a Judas Priest song.

O hai. Did you find your flight information in the envelope marked “Urgent!” in crayon?
I just finished running - 5K in 36:08.
I didn’t get the point of that song.
That’s good. I just finished playing pirate in 30-foot seas and driving rain off the coast of Oregon. I made it like that so we wouldn’t have to do helo ops at 8 pm. It wasn’t bad until we went on turbines and were doing 21 knots in aforementioned. Then it was hard to walk around. The turbines make the entire ship rattle and bounce around everywhere. Like being on airplane, but longer.
Not yet, but we pulled in at 9:00 last night, so I don’t think anyone has gone to get the ship’s mail yet. If I don’t get it in my mailbox on the ship later today, I’ll go to the mail trailer and ask for it.
Exactly.
Anoreth casts Confusion (d30+5)
Success
Oh my goodness, a confirmed sighting of the famous “Anoreth” just in from left coast transit. Welcome back to Washington, even if you don’t like the urban west side so much.
45 this afternoon, the snow is melting. We have choir practice tonight, new people that need to learn the Lent music. Cary will be there to stop me before I accidentally tell anyone to pound sand in my episodic Spanish.
Yeah, try to get your mail in the next couple of days. Everyone’s looking forward to seeing you, especially poor Ash. She hates this weather; currently she’s pouting in her crate because there are no sunbeams for basking.
It worked. Now cast “Sunshine and 60s” in lower North Carolina, so we can do some yardwork and run outdoors.
Are you training for boot camp?
Well, tell Ash that I’m coming to visit her next week. I’ll bring some presents, paying attention to what I can get through security. I need to start stocking up for the next adventure anyway. So far, the list is thus:
Instant grits
Honey
Jelly
Syrup
My own cup so I don’t have to wait in line to get one
Extra USB cords and headphones
Digital camera
The new Alestorm album
Lots of extra cash
(I’m informed that one can buy authentic samurai swords in Singapore. Also Luger pistols, which everyone says I need one of because you can mispronounce my last name ‘luger.’ Pshaw.)
No, just training for its own sake. Before my last pregnancy (followed by the auto accident), I was running 5K in about 27 minutes. And I want to be able to exercise with Anoreth when she gets home. She never could run, before the CG!
(Elen’s wearing the shoes you left. She’s got the FEET - not even 12 yet.)
Well, yes. I have been concentrating on decent-ish weather at home for the past several weeks. I hate rain.
I always say Pshaw to “Luger,” too ... or, “That’s Mrs. Wright, thank you.”
Your dad will get you a digital camera - you can try out the one he got me last month and see if you like it.
I do more stairs than actual running nowadays, with some weight training (either on purpose or because we’re loading stores or carrying heavy stuff around the boat), and a 5-8 mile hike w/ ten-pound backpack at least once a week. Lots of stamina, not much speed, but there’s not much call for moving fast in the Coast Guard. Too dangerous. It’s more important to be able to carry 40 pounds of firefighting gear on your back and still manage to fight a fire (for however long it takes) than it is to be able to run ten miles.
Well, Pshaw isn’t the kind of thing one say to XO on the bridge. However, XO has taken to calling me ‘German Gun’, along with most of the Chiefs. He wnated to talk about shooting on every watch I stood all last week. Which was fine with me, I guess.
It sounds like you could “run” with Tom while carrying Ash on your back, then.
If you have to have a nickname, “German Gun” isn’t bad. I’ll tell Bill about it.
I probably walk faster than Tom runs, while carrying a 25-pound 76mm round in 40-knot winds. I would get bored. In any case, exercise is no fun unless the ground underfoot is listing back and forth at 50-degree angles.
Blargh. I like a secure surface.
It’s like an excercise ball, only better because it isn’t as gay on account of having alot of big guns.
LOL! You’ll have great stability and core strength!
bttt
Well, it is true that I’ve become noticeably less clumsy on land..at least, after my sea legs have worn off. Takes a few days. Except that this morning I dropped the lid of my rack on my arm, which hurt. The swelling (slight) went down and there’s only bruises, so it guess no major harm done.
Ow. Don’t hurt yourself too badly. (”Lid of your rack”? You’re sleeping in a roaster?)
No. Well, yes, if Certain People turn the A/C off and don’t tell anyone, but no. It’s like a bunk bed, but more like the ones that are on submarines. Slightly larger, I guess. And the mattress lifts up so you can put things into a storage area under it. Anyway, the little pole that holds the lid up fell down while I was trying to find clean socks, and landed on my arm.
It hurt.
I think there’s an expansion for the Martians RPG I sent for Christmas. I may try to find that.
I think your Dad and the boys played Martians.
Well, I believe there’s an expansion to it. I’ll look in the comic book/wierd geek stuff that even I won’t buy store. If it’s still in business...
Yeah, stuff is going out of business here, too. The owners are trying to sell Growing Scholars.
There’s around ten places that went out just in the three weeks I was in San Diego. It’s okay..they were just teriyaki restaurants (there’s one every half a block here) and those idiotic stores where you can buy jewelry for your pet rat-dogs, not bookstores or pawn shops or anything.
Dog-jewelry stores would seem to be a tenuous proposition, in this economic climate.
Well, I have to feed Frank and then take some kids to gymnastics. Have a good afternoon, and get your mail soon as you can!
This is the rich idiot homosexual side of town. Although apparently not as rich as usual.
There’s a fruity dog-goods store in Waxhaw, or used to be.
Do you think I can get breath mints in metal containers (like Altoids) through airport security, or is that exactly the kind of weapon one would expect a five-foot-two Coastie to try to sneak on board and hijack a plane with?
I don’t know - call your grandmother. Or get breath mints in rolls, like LifeSavers.
Well, I’ll give it a try, I guess. Security guards are not noted for logical thinking (else they’d be in an actual police force of some kind), but maybe someone will have enough brain-things in their head to assume that military personnell (who aren’t crazy Marines with Iranian last names) aren’t going to hijack planes.
Close, but not quite. It's a bit east and north of you, directly uphill from downtown. The area called Cap Hill.
But do you want green eggs and ham?
